"I'm so sorry, Emilia, Leon was probably mad because I was still hanging around you guys," Erik apologized for what seemed like the tenth time during the ten minute ride back to the hotel.

"Erik, it's not your fault," Emilia consoled him. "Nothing was going on between you and I. Plus, like I said before, Leon and I are just friends too. He has no reason to be so angry about us speaking."

He scoffed. "By that reaction Emilia, I can tell that at least Leon feels something on his end. Do you feel the same?"

"Honestly, yes. But Leon is just so difficult to read. One moment he's introducing me to his parents and saying all these nice things to me, but the other he's treating me like one of the guys. I'm not quite sure how to take him," Emilia shrugged.

"I really think you should talk to him, Emi," Erik put his arm around Emilia's shoulder as a consoling gesture, but it made her feel a bit uncomfortable. "And now is the perfect time," he opened the car door, following Emi out.

"Thanks for such a fun time tonight, Erik. I appreciate you spending time with me and translating Leon's interview - it was a very thoughtful thing to do."

"Aye, well it looked like you wouldn't have just minded gawking at him and not listening to a word he said," He joked, causing both of them to laugh.

"Do you blame me?" Emilia grinned, staring up at the tall boy.

"Nah, but I think I'm just as good looking," Erik oozed confidently. "But I suppose that's up to interpretation, isn't it?"

"Good night, Erik," Emi giggled, beginning to walk to the elevator. She pressed the number four on the keypad, hoping to make things right with Leon.

"Leon, Joshua! Please let me in!" Emilia pounded on the door, but no one would answer.

The distraught girl took her phone out of her pocket realizing it was well after midnight, but FaceTiming Joshua anyways.

He picked up on the third ring, the cuddly Bayern player rubbing his eyes before speaking, "Hi Emi, what's up?"

"Joshua please let me in."

"Oh, I'm sorry, Emi," He said apologetically. "I'm with Lina in her hotel room so I'm not there. What's wrong?"

"I was seated next to Erik Durm at the game today and he hung out with Leon's parents and myself afterwards while Leon was doing his press stuff and now he's mad at me. I don't know what to do," Emilia slid her body down the door, unsure of what her next move was going to be.

"That's just Leon being Leon," Joshua tried to soothe her. "Go to your hotel room and get some sleep, Emi. I'll talk to him in the morning; it'll blow over I promise you."

"Thank you Joshy. Oh, and good game today!" She forced to try and convince her friend that she was okay.

"Glad you enjoyed the game, Em. See you in the morning," He ended the call.

Emilia wasn't sure what to do next. Everyone seemed to be in bed already, as it was quite late. She knew that Joshua was right that she should get some sleep, but she wasn't going to sleep in her bed that night.

Emi laid down on the ground in front of Leon's door, placing her arm under her head, using it as an uncomfortable pillow. She only hoped that she could get Leon to talk to her once morning came.

Leon had gone to bed that night as soon as he got back to his hotel room. He silenced his phone knowing Emilia would blow up his phone with calls and texts. Leon hoped that she'd just leave it for tonight and they could talk about it the following day, but he knew that she was too stubborn to do that.
