Olivia walked down the street of her hometown. Her curls bounced lightly against her shoulders and the leaves flew gently with the light wind. She took one step at a time down the street, counting them almost, as if she were measuring the distance it was to her destination.

One of the leaves fell in front of her foot and she stepped on it creating a satisfying crunch. She smiled and turned into one of the taller buildings on the block. The man at the counter waved at her and Olivia gave a shy smile and a polite wave in acknowledgement as she headed over to the elevator. She pressed the button that would get her to the roof and as the door closed she got a cold shrouding feel of fear surround her like a cloak of darkness. She shook her head a little to remove the feeling and composed herself as the doors opened.

She stepped into the small hallway and opened the door in front of her. The warm wind whispered gently through the trees as she stepped outside. The sun was sinking in the distance and the faraway mountains were black silhouettes against the orange sky. Olivia sat on the edge of the roof with her feet hanging off the other side. she swayed them back and forth and watched the sun begin to descend upon the mountains. All of a sudden the clouds turned bright pink, dark blue and every color in between.

This is perfect. Olivia thought to herself and slouched her back a little. The wind pushed some of her hair out of her face and behind her ear. She lifted her finger to touch it and instead of finding just her hair she felt a hand. "Whoa!" she yelped in surprise and jumped down from her spot. She glanced frantically around for whom ever had just touched her hair but the roof was clean of anyone.

"Hello, Sweet Angel," a strange voice came from behind Olivia's shoulder. It was a voice so smooth, like chocolate. Like It demanded attention but in a passive manner. Olivia quickly turned to find the source of the voice and saw no one. She decided it was best not to speak it would get me nowhere, she told herself. "Look at the colors of the sky," the voice came from a different spot on the roof. Olivia knew better than to let her guard down but she couldn't help but steal a glance behind her. Her heart melted as soon as the sunset met her vision. It was so beautiful and Olivia lost herself, once again, to the Evening's spell. "Every color in this sky that you can see represents something in yourself." The voice came, almost hypnotically. "What do you see Olivia?" He asked.

Olivia's eyes widened in recognition of her own name "I can see the light purple on the sides of the smoke stacks." She responded,"but I know what they mean, you don't need to tell me."

"humor me," the voice whispered in Olivia's ear.

She shivered and turned to see nobody on the roof. "Who are you? What are you?" she asked, ignoring the challenge. but when nothing happened, Olivia turned back to the sunset. "The purple represents my memories." she paused as another hand pulled her hair back out of her face. "It represents what I remember and how I remember it, it is my favorite color because of what parts of my past it brings back to me."

"I couldn't have said it better myself." The voice came again but it was quieter than before. Olivia turned, she saw the top of a suit with a cape on it fall to the center of the roof. She walked over and picked it up. Inside one of the pockets, she found a note; It was hand written and on the parchment it read:

"Hello dear Olivia, by the time you have read this, the sun will have set and you will have met me. Here is where Our adventure starts. "

The note ended with a small period at the end and Olivia read it a few times, trying to comprehend what it meant. So this creep knows my name; What does he want from me? she shook her head, stuffed the note into her pocket, and headed back inside.
