A piano played from somewhere inside the theater. It's effortless noise swirled around Olivia and hugged her heart comfortingly. Her heart pumped heavily to the flowing melody and she took her coat off so she could sit on it. The ground was cold but at least her butt wasn't wet and the music warmed her whole body anyway so the cold did not bother her; It was as if the music was protecting her from it.

The Twinkling stars high above seemed to be putting on a show for her as she slowly began to feel drowsy. She felt her eyes getting heavy and it was hard for her to stay sitting up so she laid down and the music from downstairs continued to possess her. At some point the music stopped and a figure with a sweeping cape approached Olivia as she finally drifted off to sleep.

Torrence saw her laying on her coat in the middle of the roof and smiled to himself. She must be cold from staying out here so long. He went over to her and felt her cheek, it was ice cold. He began to panic and picked her up. To his surprise, she weighed almost nothing and she did not wake as he brought her inside and into a room with a big warm bed. He laid her down and covered her in a blanket. He paced back and forth as he waited for some kind of response from her.

He would leave the room occasionally to get a glass of water and a little bread but she didn't wake up until a day had passed. Then, Finally, Olivia slowly opened her eyes and saw she was not on the roof anymore. She slowly pulled the blanket off of her body and sat up.

"I thought I lost you" Torrence sighed in relief and walked over to Olivia. He sat next to her on the bed and tried to put his hand on hers but she pulled away.

"What happened?" Olivia asked, rubbing her eyes. She stood up and paused for a second, her vision had started to turn to tunnel vision and then all she saw was darkness. Torrence noticed her starting to sway to far to the side and gently pulled her back towards the bed. She sat down really fast and the bed shook a little as she landed.

Torrence caught her and laid her back down in her spot "Shh shh, Sweet Angel, don't move too much" He whispered and brushed her hair out of her face with the backs of his fingers. Olivia's vision slowly came back and she noticed he was touching her.

"Don't," she drowsily pushed his hand away and rubbed her head. My head hurts she meant to say out loud, and looked at Torrence, who had moved his hand back into his own lap. She waited for him to notice. Torrence stood up he held his hand out for her to take, She scoffed at it and stood up, slowly this time. "I don't need your help" she spat at him and walked towards the door.

"I was not giving you special attention, I was merely offering appropriate attention" Torrence replied and briskly walked past Olivia to close the door. She stopped and stared at the hand that had taken away her freedom. "I would like to ask what you were doing that night, on the roof?" Torrence asked.

Olivia sighed and rolled her eyes at the ceiling "I was looking for the bathroom" she sarcastic.

Torrence rolled his eyes and sighed "No, really, what were you doing out there? you could have gotten hurt." The last word stuck in Olivia's mind.

"I was stargazing and I started hearing things again, so I fell asleep" Olivia confessed.

Torrence frowned and let go of the door. "Hearing things, again?" he asked, emphasizing 'again' as he sat down on a couch. He patted the cushion next to him for Olivia to sit too.

Olivia followed him and sat down, fearing what he might do if she didn't. "Well ever since a few years ago, I have begun to hear songs play out of nowhere." she started. Torrence turned to face her and rested his arm on the arm rest. The look on his face implied that she should continue her explanation. "They are usually out of nowhere and come from somewhere and everywhere, mysterious tunes. It is always a song I've never heard before."

Torrence nodded "I'm assuming you heard a song that put you to sleep on the roof two nights ago?"

Olivia tilted her head in confusion. "Two nights? but I fell asleep last night," she said.

"I think you fell asleep and your brain got too cold or something, and you slept for an entire day" Torrence explained.

Olivia stared forward at a painting on the wall."Oh," was all she could think to say.

A moment of uncomfortable silence passed through them as they both had nothing more to say. Torrence stood up and cracked his back. "Well, you are probably hungry, so I'm going to go get some food for you. Mean while you can come with me if you want."

Olivia nodded and her stomach growled at the thought of food. She eagerly followed Torrence out of the room and down a hallway. As they walked Olivia noticed that they were still on the top floor, based on what she had seen when she went onto the roof. She glanced behind them and saw the door that led outside. The golden door knob gleamed in the yellow light. Torrence noticed her watching behind them and held his hand out to her once again."Allow me to lead you,"

He gave a charming smile and Olivia rolled her eyes and sighed."Fine, just this once but only because you wont stop offering your hand to lead me around." She mused and gently placed her hand into his.

Olivia noticed that her hand was so small and cold compared to his and Torrence's eyes widened with his smile. Her hand had a bony structure and the skin on her knuckles seemed to be clinging to the bones rather than covering them up. She found herself blushing as Torrence closed his hand around hers. He had big soft hands that were warm and gentle, like they had never done this before and were afraid to be as strong as they really were. He began to lead her farther down the hall and into a room. There was a big table with two spots set up on it. On another wall there was an Oven, a sink, a counter separating them, and a fridge. on the far side. Torrence led her to the table and pulled a chair out for her. She sat down and picked her feet up as he pushed it in again. "What's for breakfast?" Olivia asked and put the napkin on her lap.
