The elevator was occupied so Olivia was forced to use the stairs, much to her dismay. The stairwell was not as well kept as the rest of the building was and rat droppings could be seen here and there. After going down four floors, Olivia finally reached the bottom. she paused before she opened the door and heard shuffling coming from up above her head. "Hello?" She called out as boldly as she could. Her small voice rang out through the stairs and at first there was no response.

"I'm up here," a small voice came from about a floor up and a little boy popped his head over the railing, he looked to be about six or seven. He presented a big smile and Olivia could see his two front teeth were missing. Definitely seven.

Olivia waved to the little boy "Where is your mother, child?" she asked and as a door opened and a woman in heels stepped out.

"She is right here!" the little boy called down a tugged on his mother's pant leg to get her attention.

She glanced down at her son "Hrm?" she hummed in a funny voice.

"There is a lady down there with curly hair, just like yours" he said and pointed down at Olivia, who smiled as she saw a second face peek over the edge.

"Oh, hello down there!" The woman greeted Olivia.

Olivia smiled and laughed, "your son is adorable."

The woman smiled and chuckled, "trust me, he is only this way around strangers."

Olivia giggled "I bet. Alright well, you two have a nice evening."She exited the stairwell into the main lobby. Nobody was at the check in counter, Olivia shrugged it off, shift change, she thought to herself and walked past the counter to the front door. She stepped outside and looked down both ways of the street. When there was a spot she could cross, she did and made it safely to the other side.

The wind was starting to pick up and Olivia could feel small raindrops begin to fall onto her cheek. She picked up her pace going down the street and let her mind wander. what if the man comes back? what if he takes me? what would I do then? where would he even take me? who would notice my disappearance? nobody. Olivia was jerked out of her thoughts as a newspaper blew past her and left a long cut across her left temple. she brought up her hand to feel where it had cut her face and felt it start to bleed. craaaaap she thought to herself as she tried to rub off the blood. Someone will notice and think I need help but I don't need help I just...

Olivia glanced up and noticed she had no idea where she was. She turned down several streets trying to find a glimpse of something familiar but nothing came. Olivia could feel the anxiety rising in her chest and her breath hitched as a tear made its way down her cheek. This is all my fault, what have I done. Olivia found a bench and sat down. By now the rain was pouring and she found wiping her tears away wasn't helping.

"What is wrong Sweet Angel?" The voice from Earlier questioned.

Olivia shot up from the bench and turned around trying to find who had spoken to her. "Hello?" She called into the pouring rain. Nothing happened so Olivia thought it best to keep walking.

"I know where you can be warm." The voice disclosed.

"I just want to go home," Olivia muttered and as soon as she finished, she felt big warm hands place themselves on her shoulders. She screamed and tried to jump away but they didn't let go.

"I can take you home if you want." The voice chuckled. Olivia tried to turn around to see whoever was behind her but the hands wouldn't let her. "Don't look at me, please, it's better that way," The voice warned. Olivia nodded but her gut began to feel sour. She felt like she had no choice but to let him guide her through the city, so she went silently.

Olivia still didn't recognize anything as they turned down several streets. She had lost all hope and the cold wasn't helping much. Her teeth chattered relentlessly as they approached a run down looking theater. "Wait, where are we?" she asked as she stopped walking.

"We are going home" the voice growled and began to push Olivia towards the structure.

Olivia planted her feet as the man pushed harder "This isn't home! let me go you creep" She screamed in fear of what might happen next. Olivia sunk down trying to escape the man's iron grip but all she managed to do was pick up her legs as the man's grip tightened around her shoulders to hold her weight. She could feel his raw strength and felt suddenly very small as she remained suspended in mid air.

"It would be wise if you stopped trying to get away," the man hissed into Olivia sending shivers down her spine. "I need you to stay" the last line was filled with distant history that Olivia could only begin to wonder what happened.

She slowly lowered her feet to the ground and took a deep breath in. "Okay, I'll go with you," she muttered, feeling defeated. The man began to gently push Olivia towards the theater.
