As soon as he did Olivia glanced frantically around the room. There was a window near the ceiling in which Olivia could look outside. The snow was falling heavier than earlier and was beginning to cover the window up. She looked around even more and saw the fire stoke next to the fire pit. The ends were dull and covered in ashes but she suspected the whole thing might have a good weight to it anyway. Torrence walked back into the room with two mugs in his hands. "Some tea for the lady" He announced and handed her a green turquoise cup. "And a hot chocolate for me" he proclaimed and sat down next to Olivia.

Olivia stared at her cup "Thank you" she told him and blew on the cup a little. It didn't feel very hot in her hands but she knew better than to take a swig of tea right as it is handed to her.

Torrence watched her gently blow on her cup. "Don't worry, I made sure yours wasn't too hot" He informed her and took a big gulp of his hot chocolate. It was way too hot and the entire top of his tongue felt dead. He winced and them made a forced smile. "Never mind" he squeaked and set his cup down.

Olivia giggled and sipped lightly from her mug. The tea was luke warm and wasn't sweetened, which made it all better. "Mines not too hot" She told Torrence, who was now sucking on an ice cube. "You okay?" She asked Torrence.

Torrence gave a shy smile and a thumbs up to indicate he would survive until tomorrow. "I'll be fine-" He cut off when his ice cube fell out of his mouth. It bounced on the floor and slid a few inches forward. He bent down to pick it up when, in Olivia's amusement, his hand bumped it slightly sending it clear across the floor. It hit a wall and bounced into a corner. Olivia couldn't help but burst out laughing as Torrence took the walk of shame across the room to pick it up. "It's not funny" he muttered and took the cold cube back into the kitchen.

Olivia giggled a little bit more and sipped at her tea trying to get herself to stop. Lucky for her it worked and just to be on the safe side, Olivia took another sip. Just to be sure. Torrence walked back into the room with a new ice cube and plopped it into his hot chocolate. "Want some of mine?" Olivia asked and offered her cup towards him.

Torrence looked over at Olivia's masked face, his eyes were full of embarrassment and shame while hers resembled a warm and inviting light. "Yeah, thanks" He muttered and slowly took the cup from her hand. Out of curiosity, Olivia purposely made their hands brush against each other and just as she predicted, his eyes widened and he almost froze in place. She nodded inwardly at his actions. You can't help how you feel but you can help how you act Olivia told herself a quote from a book she read a while back.

Torrence took a few sips of the drink and instantly his tongue felt better. I hope this potion works on Olivia the way it did with me. He handed the cup back to her and made sure she didn't see his tongue. "Here" he muttered and watched her take a few more sips.

Olivia noticed Torrence staring at her and stopped for a second. "So are you gonna make conversation or just keep staring at me creepily?" She asked and took another sip.

Torrence cleared his throat and paused Always talk about something in common so you don't bore her with something about yourself for an hour.... He trailed off in his mind while he thought of things to talk about. Olivia took his lack of a response and continuation of the staring as a response and rolled her eyes. Torrence held up one finger and swallowed, I know! Everyone has a zodiac right?

"What's your Zodiac sign?" Torrence blurted.

Olivia smiled and her previous annoyance melted. She took a sip of her drink. "I actually don't know my sign but I read online that the personality predictions are really accurate." She said and took another sip. Nothing came out of her cup and she looked into it to see it had been emptied.

Torrence grinned and opened up a drawer from beside the couch. To his relief the calendar was in it so he didn't have to ransack his own house looking for it. "This is a Zodiac Calendar" Torrence explained and opened the first page to show the different Zodiacs and the windows you have to be born in for each one.

Olivia read them each aloud:

Capricorn: December 22 - January 19

Aquarius: January 20 - February 18

Pisces: February 19 - March 20

Aries: March 21 - April 19

Taurus: April 20 - May 20

Gemini: May 21 - June 20

Cancer: June 21 - July 22

Leo: July 23 - August 22

Virgo: August 23 - September 22

Libra: September 23 - October 22

Scorpio: October 23 - November 21

Sagittarius: November 22 - December 21

Olivia looked over at Torrence questioningly. "What's your zodiac sign?" Olivia quizzed him.

"Ah, I am a Gemini" Torrence beamed. "You know, The best one!" He chuckled at his own joke.

Olivia nodded, not fully understanding and looked at the dates again, "So I'm gonna be Gemini too" She said and started to close the calendar but Torrence stopped her.

" It's not something you pick, it picks you" He explained but Olivia still looked confused.

"But I thought people picked them and it was like a team that they were on, and the reason they picked that team is because the name appeals to them so that's why the personality traits are so accurate" Olivia explained herself and went to take another sip out of her empty cup. She paused in mid empty sip and set her cup down frowning.
