Olivia walked along the shore of a beach. Her feet were bare and the damp sand rubbed softly against them. Up above, the stars were out and Dark red ribbons wove themselves to olive colored strips in the sky. And if you looked further you could see smaller circles of white on the outside pink as a middle ring and an aqua colored center.
Olivia sat down in the sand and watched the sky as the waves rolled in gently. A few moments passed and the ribbons moved closer to the circles, eventually colliding. Causing the sky to explode into bright waves of red rose and white speckles. She smiled and reached her hand forward to touch it and pulled a figure from the sky.
She turned the small object around in her hand to find it was a light, almost white, pink hummingbird drinking from a scarlet red rose. It's wings were open. The wing tips faded into Aqua green. The eyes were small black dots, they glittered in the rising sun's rays. Olivia took note of its details. She held the hummingbird in her hand and felt its weight, it could have only been a few ounces.
