Chapter 7

I woke up today feeling like I've been in the hospital forever. Today was the championship of the larksville baseball team and the softball team. I wanted to get to the field early to see there game, so I told my dad were doing some exercises before.
When we got there I was trying to spot Autumn. There she was with a ponytail perfect with a tight, black headband around her head. She was doing bat, and was great at it. I wonder if she was the captain.

I ran up to the softball cages completely disregarding what the coach has said about the baseball team not allowed in the cages with the softball players.

"Hey Rebecca? When will Autumn be off bat?"
"I'm pretty sure this is her last run."
"Okay and Clark can't stop talking about you by the way."
"I know, he talks about me to all of his friends. It's so sweet."
"Well if it's okay I'm going to hide behind the locker so I don't get ratted out by one of these girls."
"Trust me all these girls think your the hottest guy."
"We'll now I'm going to hind there just for security."

I started to walk behind the lockers pushing their bags out. Vera Bradley, wow. Then I notice a bag that says Autumn. No, I tell myself but I look inside.
There was the normal stuff like extra clothes, shoes, and bats. I looked at the bat closely, and it had A and T chiseled on the bottom so maybe people couldn't see it. I'm really hoping the t is me instead of some kid from her church or something. I zip the bag up and put it where it was so they won't suspect anything.

"Hey Taylor whatcha doing round' here?"
"I was watching your game, now you have to come to mine. Right?"
"Seems fair, but one deal."
"What do you mean?"
"I mean you've just came to one of mine and I've came to all of yours."
"What? I've never seen you?"
"I've hid right were you are now."
"Oh so we're smart."
"Yep like two brains collided."
"More like masterminds."
"Your still funny and larksville hasn't changed you one bit."
"Oh yea it has."
