Chapter 13
I got out and opened the door for Autumn.
"Thanks, but you didn't have to do that. I can take care of myself."
"Yea okay."
"Do you mind if I turn the radio up?"
"Nah. Go ahead."She turned the music up slowly. I was wondering what kind of music she likes, because I like thinks like clean rap and stuff.
"Is this fine?"
She turned on "acappella" by karmin.
"Yea, I actually like this kind of music too."
"Nice there's another check on my list."
She did her hands in a motion like she was checking off a paper about the size of my truck.
"Oh there's a list?"
"Yep. Well it's mostly for my dad."Yikes. I haven't met him yet and I need to. Things were going so well.
"So my dad was going to meet me at TGIF, but I can call and change if you want."
"No it's perfect."
"My dad's going to ask a lot of questions so be prepared."
"Oh I think I'm prepared. The thing you have to worry about is my dad."
"Is he strict?"
"No, he just doesn't want me to be pregnant at 16."
"Oh. Have you told him about..."
"Yea, well the principal has. You know there's cameras right?"
"Yeah, I just want the whole world to know." I opened her door. The music was blasting and I was debating how she would take the surroundings.
"Hey son! Oh hey Autumn."
"Nice to see you sir. You have a wonderful young man."
"I'm aware. So Taylor, I saw your friend Smith here. He's with a girl."
