Chapter 26
I walked out of the hospital and my phone beeped in my back pocket. It was Clide.
"Save the date! Clide and Grace appreciate their Commitments on June 21!"
I almost dropped my phone. Clide and grace have been dating since I don't know when but I never knew they would get married. Well I guess I have to go. Ugh.
"Who was that?"
"Oh Autumn, um..."
"What? Who texted you?"
"Um Clide, and he's getting married."
"What? Why didn't Grace say anything! That little!"
"Hah, well it's next week. I guess we have to go."
"Well I would think so considering they're our friends! Yes we should go Taylor!"
"Ugh. I hate weddings but if it was mine it wouldn't matter."
"What? Yours?"We just had a distant stare at each other and then I looked away then looked back thinking she would be looking forward. She was still looking at me with the night shine in her eyes. Her blue eyes was staring right in front of me saying marry me. I didn't know what to do so I just just said:
"Well I'll see you tomorrow okay?"
"Oh ya. Um bye Taylor."
"Bye. I'll clean up tonight and could I meet you at the baseball field?"
"Why?"
"I thought we could practice because I haven't gotten to do that in a while."
"Bye Taylor."I had an idea. I wonderful lasting idea.
