When you close your eyes,
Remember that I'm falling asleep too.

I'm thinking of you the moments before my blissful quiet.

I'm crying for you, for you have been through far too much.

My eyes shed tears for you and how sorry I am.

I don't know why you're my soft spot, but thinking of you and your calmness makes me want to sob.

I wish for you to not be calm.

Even though you sit quietly all day, I wish you would yell. I wish you would tell me why.

Whisper why you put up with me.
Announce what you think about, what you ponder over so unconsciously deep into thought.
Scream why you're so insecure.

I just want to know.
I just want to help.
But I understand.

Please, though, remember;  I'm falling asleep tonight. You deserve to, too.
