A pretty face,
Straightened hair
A slimmer waist,
And skin less fair
A smaller belly,
Better curves
Happier life, really,
Calmer nerves
No matter the pain,
The sacrifice and scare,
The lifelong misery
That everyone cares
You can't be too small,
Or just a little bit too big
You'll still face judgment
Maybe called a pig
But please eat the food,
Please keep it down,
Social media doesn't help,
Just keeps you still bound
I never look at someone
And think they are fat
Or even too skinny
But some people do lack
The capacity to see
Beyond the skin
And find one's true character
That keeps them from sin
So never forget
That some are brutal
But others do care
And don't only like the frugal
