Days like this
The calm, quiet, lazy afternoons
The ones I miss
And can stay wrapped up in a cocoon
My safety blanket around me
And my tablet in my lap
But not even these distractions,
Nor a very long nap
Can make me forget
How you look when you smile
Sarcastic and hidden
You are not present for miles
Even though you act like you're kidding
