PART II:
~Narrator~
Rain and overcast skies coated the city as the cold and warm weather clashed during the beginning days of spring.
Sunrise took place behind the compacted clouds brightening in the sky in such a way it appeared eerie.
Bayani knew something was wrong yet she couldn't but her finger on it. Though she couldn't decipher the magnitude she knew it was much larger than Saniya and her family suddenly isolating themselves. Jinyoung had an idea but didn't want to come to terms that this...that his superstitions proving to be right all along.
The two teenagers exited out of the car parked right in front of a residential complex. This was one of the last places Bayani thought she would be on a Sunday morning, but the gut crunching feeling she had advised her that she should for Saniya's sake. Bayani loved Saniya like a sister.
Both Taehyung and Jimin heard the obnoxious banging against the front door as they lined up their weapons and other devices on the coffee table ready to head out and track down Namjoon.
Not entirely sure on who the hell could be banging the door Taehyung grabbed a handgun entwining his hand fingers around the trigger holding the gun behind his back as Jimin shuffled around covering the table with its original cover.
"Who is it?" Taehyung growled not in the mood to be fucked with especially with amateur henchmen Namjoon probably sent out to taunt with him.
"It's Jinyoung and Bayani....we just want to talk"
Glancing through the peephole making sure it was only them alone he battled with his conscious.
"What do you want now? For fuck sakes I thought we were on spring break" He wasn't in the mood for their antics especially not when Saniya's life was on the line. The more he thought about her and the possible horrors Namjoon is doing to her and her family made his head throb. Usually when Taehyung was under a lot of stress or in a dark place he would black out for a few hours but not in this case. He had to be present. "Bullshit! I know you know something Mr. Kim now where the fuck is Saniya?" Bayani's patience was gone and being taken for a fool was not something she was going to allow.
Without thinking Taehyung opened the door grabbing both of them inside before they could draw any unwanted attention. Both of their eyes widened at his actions including Jimin.
"Yo why the fuck did you bring them in h-" Jimin was cut off by Taehyung's glare. "I'll just wait in the kitchen"
"Feel better now that you're in my house to see Saniya's not here, not as if I'm some crazy lunatic who kidnapped her family and holding them hostage....here's a newsflash but I am just as if not even more worried than you are" His voice roared intimidating Bayani as she yelped seeing his gun behind his back. "I would have expected better coming from your background Jinyoung, or is it probably because you refused to recognize my face"
Jinyoung stood there in utter shock staring deep into Taehyung's eyes as he connected the dots. He didn't want to believe it at first but when spending year after year exploring the Kim mafia case files he couldn't hide from it anymore. Taehyung was the splitting image of his father. The tension between the two men was unbreakable as Bayani tried to put the pieces together. A single tear fell from the younger's cheek.
"What do you mean Mr. Kim?.....Jinyoung?" Her gaze darting between the two.
"But-but I studied the entire case for years...they reported that everyone died...you're not suppose to be alive" Jinyoung's voice cracked in revelation. The identical face of his parents killer shrugged walking off back to the coffee table revealing all of his most prized weapons. "Correction...my entire family was killed...all except me and my sicko of a brother who is even worse then our father" Taehyung gave no fucks anymore thinking perhaps that the teenagers would be of some use to him.
"Why would the Kim's have anything to do with Saniya and Malia?" Jinyoung asked getting an idea of the general situation.
"Saniya's family wasn't all that innocent but I don't have time for explanations. Look Jimin and I are going to need all the help we can get...the more the merrier. If you want to help me get Saniya and her family back home alive I need both of you to get your shit together and pack an overnight bag and meet me at the airport in three hours" Taehyung explained putting on a leather jacket strapping a backpack around his shoulders as Jimin exited from a room with another bag in hand.
"Wait a minute so Saniya's family was entangled with the mafia...Mr. Kim is not only our teacher but the mob boss' son...and Jinyoung also has ties to the mafia...is there anything else I'm missing...oh maybe we should call the police!" Bayani pulled her phone from her pocket only for Jinyoung to grab it from her.
"Now babe, calling the police on the Kim mafia is like a death wish so this is what we're not going to do" Jimin laughed from the background.
"Count us in...where do you think Namjoon has them?" Jinyoung asked. Bayani gulped nervously at what she had gotten herself into by coming here. Basically death by association.
"I can't fight Namjoon without an army...I have some old allies I need to reconnect bases with"
To be continued....
