They say Seoul is a big rich town. One of the largest metropolitan areas in eastern Asia.
Known for both it's good and bad histories.
Cool air breezed out of an A.C. vent that was strong enough to move papers taped to what had use to be a mirror. Park Jinyoung buttoned up his navy blue blazer seeing a small reflection of his face through a section of the mirror that wasn't covered by old newspaper articles.
He heard footsteps out from the hallway as he opened the bedroom door to see his older sister Sohye getting ready to knock.
"How did you know I was coming?"
"I can hear everything" He said going towards his phone still plugged in.
Sohye smiled leaned against the side of his doorway observing her little brother. "Are you excited for your first day at the academy?"
"Yeah I'm so excited " Jinyoung replied to his sister's comment sarcastically.
Sohye bit her lip thinking of ways to cheer her brother up. The move to Seoul was completely unexpected and she knew that it would take a while for him to adjust to. Besides, the move to Seoul expanded more oppurtnuites and social advances for the both of them. "Jinyoung you know why-"
"Tell me why Sohye. Why did you decide for us to leave Jinhae-gu? Our hometown to come to the city where our parents were brutally slaughter like dogs. Why? Just so you can be closer to your dick appointments?" Jinyoung's voice raised with each word cutting his sister off.
"THAT'S ENOUGH. Seokjin had nothing do this with this! Moving to Seoul was my decision....I just wanted a better life for us with more opportunities. Is that so hard to ask for?" Sohye stepped forward looking up to him. Jinyoung faced away from her. "I see your point but that doesn't mean I agree with it"
Sohye nodded stepping away, exiting out the teenage boy's room but not without a last glance. "Your breakfast is on the table".
Jinyoung shook his head as he sat in silence for a moment before gathering his belongings for school. It was his last semester of high school.
Right as when was departing a newspaper article fell off the mirror ever so slowly onto the wooden floor. Jinyoung picked it up placing it on his desk. He felt chills just by reading the eight year old article.
He believed by the horrific death of his parents murderer was enough justice for Sohye and him, but no matter how much justice was served it will never bring his parents back.
