|Narrator|
There was a draft in the auditorium. The stage lights turned on as students took their seats waiting for their classmates to begin.
Malia could feel the heat from the intensity of the stares of her classmates feeling her palms become sweaty as she was gracing the keys of the piano. Her partner Yoongi was the exact opposite.
"Ready?" The music instructor asked the duo. Yoongi glanced back at Malia who weakly nodded.
It's only practice...why am I so nervous? She thought to herself. Was it because of Yoongi? She didn't want to make a mistake in front of him.
Malia began playing the piano slowly to the chorus she glanced up seeing Yoongi holding onto the mircophone with his eyes closed listening to the beat.
"In the corners of my memory. A brown piano taking up space on one side. The corners of the house of my youth"
"I remember that time, the brown piano that was so much taller than me, when it lead me"
"I longed for you when I turned my face up to you, when I stroked you with one small finger"
The class sat back amazed by how vocal Yoongi was by listening to his powerful lyrics. All of them except for his close friends Jooheon and Jaebum in the audience who were already aware of his talent.
"Don't worry if i ever leave
You’ll do well on your own
I remember when I first met you
Before I knew it you grew up
Though we are putting an end to our relationship
Don’t ever feel sorry to me
I will get to meet you again
no matter what form
Greet me happily then"Then Yoongi started to rap as Malia fingers sped up to the beat. Though they had composed the song together those were Yoongi's lyrics. No matter how much he disagreed this was his song.
Though the lyrics for her was just about her love for the piano. His was questionable. Was the piano symbolize Yoongi's first love or was he literal like her?
All of that thinking made Malia's head hurt as she decided not to think too deeply about that.
Malia and Yoongi ended on a smooth note receiving a standing ovation from their music class. It was only a practice for the real show but, the two of them felt proud of themselves for different reasons.
Malia jumped up from the piano running over to hug an offguard Yoongi in center stage.
He didn't know what to do for a brief second since he was never one to show or recieve affection, he slowly wrapped his arms around her petite frame hugging her back.
"That was amazing! It was like you were a true rapper out there" Malia smiled as they walked backstage once the next set was about to practice. "I use to rap sometimes"
"Really? You never told me you had stage experience...where did you rap?"
Yoongi rubbed the back of his neck not use to opening up about himself but this girl was persistent. "An underground club called The Lock. I play there sometimes with Jiyong, Bobby, and Jooheon"
"What about Jaebum?"
"Jaebum just goes there for the hoes. He's not a rapper but his stepbrother Jackson tries".
"You know what would be cool, if you invited me to see you perform" Malia smirked. "Nah you're like a baby. Security wouldn't even let you in".
"Yeah but you can let me slide though".
Yoongi shook his head making her upset. "Yooonnngggiiiii".
"No you're too young".
"She may have just turned sixteen but her body over eighteen" Jooheon leaned against the wall staring at the two, mostly Malia.
"Shut up Jooheon you know what I mean" Yoongi replied shooing away his friend leaving a clueless Malia struggling to translate in her head.
"Eighteen what?"
Jooheon laughed stepping closer to Malia.
"Don't worry about it babe, I can get you inside The Lock"
Malia's eyes lit up in excitement.
"Jooheon" Yoongi warned. He knew what his friend was trying to do and wasn't it going to watch it happen. Malia was too good for that.
"What? We're just gonna have some fun and watch you perform" Jooheon said innocently with a mischievous glint. Malia agreed. "Yeah, you're blowing this way out proportion"
"No you're blowing this out of proportion. I said I don't want you there! Didn't I make myself clear the first time in case you did not fucking understand I DON'T WANT TO SEE YOUR FACE ANYWHERE NEAR THE LOCK! You got that?" Yoongi accidentally blew up in her face. Immediately after he said it he wanted to take it back. He didn't mean it.
Malia stared back at Yoongi with a blank expression. She threw her lyric book at his face before storming out of the auditorium.
Yoongi felt bad as he bent down to pick up the pink notebook staring down at her handwrititten notes going off into his thoughts as he heard clapping in the background. Jooheon was still there of course.
"Wow Min Yoongi sure does have a way with the ladies".
"Shut the fuck up".

WOOAHH WTF HOW THE HELL DID THIS TRASH ASS STORY HIT 1K ? I was literary at a stagnant 400 reads a week ago. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH.
I've decided to change my writing style. Instead of constantly forcing myself to write at least a 1000 words per chapter I decided quality is better than quantity. Like I would rather a short good chap than a dragged out one.
So my chapters from now on are going to vary from short to long.
This was basically a filler chap having a lil subplot with Malia and Yoongi. Don't worry I did not forget about Saniya and Taehyung they will be back next chap that I'm almost done with.
Until next time my lovely goddesses❤
