I groggily sat up and looked down at my arm. I carefully took the towel off and sighed at the crusted blood around it.
I carefully got out of Hayden's bed and walked into the bathroom, rinsing the blood away. I dabbed at it with a towel and stared at the cuts.
There were six new cuts, all right by each other. They weren't too deep, but deeper than I'd ever done it before.
I walked back into the room and sat down by Hayden, staring at him.
Okay, I know that was a little creepy, but he was absolutely adorable when he slept.
The side of his face was smashed into the pillow and he was snoring slightly. His face was calm and relaxed and he looked like a nice big pillow.
I smiled lightly and looked away, sighing.
Chase was free still.
"Hey.." Hayden's voice was groggy, making me look up at him again. "You okay?"
I nodded and gave him a small smile.
"Lay back down."
I scooted lied down and pulled the covers on top of me, staring into his eyes.
He pulled me closer and smirked slightly. "Better."
I giggled and blushed brightly, looking down at his shirt-covered chest.
"Your beautiful, you know."
I looked back up at him and bit my lip. "I'm nothing special."
"Yes you are. You have beautiful brown eyes that I could stare into forever. Your hair is a beautiful shade of brown that I would love to run my fingers through all day. You have an adorable nose, and when you actually smile, it brightens up the room."
I stared at him, tears gathering in my eyes. "Chase.. He's been knocking me down for years.. I wan't to believe you, but I can't."
"I'll spend the rest of my days proving it to you then." He stared into my eyes with a seriousness to them.
I sighed and closed my eyes, snuggling deeper into his chest.
I really didn't want to go back to school. I was going to have so much make-up work..
"Oh my god!" I sat up, gasping. "What about the project?! Hayden, what are we going to do about the project?!"
He groaned and sat up, pouting.
"I have the supplies.. I guess we can get started on it now. You have your camera, right? I have a printer we can print our pictures out with."
I nodded and quickly stood from his bed. "Lead the way!"

"Isobel.. No- just.. No that's not how you- just wait a minute! Isobel!"
I looked up at Hayden innocently. "Yes?"
He stared at me, really annoyed.
I may or may have not have gotten glue and glitter everywhere.
He groaned and let his head fall on the table.
I slumped down, looking around as I winced. "It's not... That bad. We can clean it!"
"No no no.. Just leave it. We need to finish this part before the glue dries."
I nodded and twisted my mouth up in concentration, trying to figure out how I wanted to sort my pictures.
I finally just shrugged and started randomly putting them down on the spots with glue, then lightly sprinkled glitter around the pictures.
