So there's the funny/weird/quotish photo to the side! ~~~~>

I stared into the mirror, wincing at my reflection. The bruises looked a lot worse than I thought they would, and that was saying something.
There was a huge bruise that covered my whole back, and a few bruises here and there along my arms. My legs were bruised as well but those were just minor.
My face, on the other hand, looked like I got kicked by a horse.
Ah ha! That't what I could do! I could blame it on a horse kicking me! I'll just wear a long sleeve shirt, and pants, and if anyone asks, the bruises on my face were from a horse!
I rolled my eyes and looked away from the mirror.
No one would be stupid enough to fall for that.. Especially Hayden..
Oh god, Hayden.. How would I explain this to him? The bruises weren't as bad as they'll look tomorrow, and he'll know something is up.
I had a feeling he didn't believe the alien thing.
I groaned, flopping on top of my bed, wincing as pain shot down my back.
I hated Chase. It seemed like everywhere I turned, he was there waiting to torture me.
Why couldn't everything just be perfect? Why couldn't I just be with Hayden?
I shot up with that thought, my eyes widening.
No, Isobel. You did not just think that. That will never happen between us.
I shook the thoughts from my head and blinked rapidly as I stared down at my arm.
The marks of the cuts were still easily seen, and it just made me crave for the feeling again.
I closed my eyes and went to my happy place, trying to take my thoughts elsewhere.
I looked over at the time and lied down, staring up at the ceiling.
It was eight o' clock, but I was tired. I closed my eyes and let the darkness of sleep wash over me.

I grumbled, rolling onto my back, stretching my arms out above me.
'Click'
I heard someone chuckle before I heard shuffling. A rough yet soft finger traced down my cheek, stopping at the bottom of my chin.
I sighed at the feeling of soft sparks going across my cheek before reality hit me.
There was someone in my room, touching me.
I screamed and shot up, hearing another click and a louder chuckle as I looked around wildly.
My eyes stopped on a grinning Hayden. My eyes went two sizes bigger if that was possible as I saw the camera in his hands. I threw a pillow at him and groaned, laying back down.
Hayden's face turned serious as he sat on the side of my bed, tracing his finger over my cheek again. His eyebrows furrowed and his eyes switched between my eyes and me cheek.
"Isobel.. Did Chase do this to you yesterday?.. Is that why you weren't in class?.. I'm not stupid, I don't believe in aliens."
"You..I..Uhh..Err.. You uh.. You don't b-believe in aliens?" I whispered out, staring at the wall in front of me.
He sighed and rubbed his hands against his face before staring back at me.
I looked him straight in the eyes and bit my lip. "Hayden.. It doesn't even matter. I don't get why you pretend to care so much.."
