Chapter 6 || No Shit Sherlock

The next morning, I didn't want to go to school. Or rather I wanted to avoid Baekhyun oppa and Sehun.

There was a knock on the door and Suho oppa peeked his head between the door and said,"Your awake? That's new. Anyways get ready, breakfast is ready."

Nodding my head, I went to my bathroom had a shower and did my normal routine. After getting dressed, I looked in the mirror and saw the girl which was trying to live when she knows there is nothing left for her. Just few months more now. You can do it Jennie Kim. I mentally cheered my self and went downstairs.

Making my way towards the dinning room, I saw all the boys were there. It was a complete mess. I found an empty seat and sat down. I silently ate my food, ignoring the constant glance Baekhyun oppa and Sehun made. It made me feel uncomfortable but I didn't let it show.

"Are you done?" I spoke after I placed the spoon on the table.

"Hu-huh?" Baekhyun oppa said confusion dancing in his head.
And finally realization dawn upon him and he sheepishly smiled at me.

Rolling my eyes, I stood and made my way towards the front door when I heard Suho telling me to wait inside the car and threw me the keys.

Suho parked his car in the parking lot, his friends doing the same. All the students stopped doing there walk and stared at the boys. Girls were squealing and gushing about something I didn't want to hear, while the boys seemed envious of their lives.

Not wanting to waste another minute, I made my way towards my locker. And of course Sehun tailing behind me, no wonder I received those piercing glares.

I took out my English book and made my way towards the class.

"Are you going to ignore me?"

I sat down on my seat, took out my books and like a good girl I waited for the teacher.

He took the seat next to me and stared at me. The murmuring of students died down as they glanced at us, probably wanting to see what Sehun had to do with me.

"You can't ignore me for long, you know that right?"

I scoff at his boldness. Staring right into his eyes, I told him, "So many things change in day, so what makes you think this won't change?"

Before he could say anything, I cut him off, "Just go back to telling me names. It's easier that way. Cut off the caring act. You and me both know that you don't really care for me."

He was too stunned to say anything but when he opened his mouth to say something, the teacher came in. I heard him silently curse himself.

The bell rung indicating the first period was over. I put my books into my bag and made my way out. As I was walking down the hallway, I noticed that all the students were staring at me and murmuring constantly glancing behind me. When I turned around, I saw Sehun following me.

Stopping on my track, I started at him.

He just stared at me with his cold eyes.

"That's much better."

I turned around and made my way towards my next class.

The teacher was explaining trigonometric function, when the speaker interrupted it.

"Hello dear students of SM, I would like to make changes in our school administration. This change has been taken in serious consideration. We would like to introduce a new subject to the school. Of course you guys are in high school and will soon be living for colleges, so taking in some feedbacks from the board members and the faculty of staff, we introduce you guys the subject of Accountancy," the principal spoke with authority and continued,

"The reason we thought of adapting this change is mainly because most of the students here are the children of entrepreneurs and when you go for your degrees in colleges, Accountancy is deemed to be the hardest of all. The change will be from tomorrow. Sorry for the inconvenience caused, the classes may resume."

Right after the buzzer went off, students were busy gossiping about the new subject.

Soon after the students started scramming out of the class, indicating that the period was over and was lunch.

Sighing heavily, I made my way towards the cafeteria, when I felt a presence behind me. I didn't have to turn around, I knew it was him.

After entering the cafeteria, I spotted my brother's friends at their usual table but not him.

I plopped down beside Kai and Sehun sat across me next to Kris.

Jisoo and Rosè were talking about the new subject 'Accountancy' with the boys, when I felt that someone was watching me. When I looked up find the culprit, I was met with a very confused and cold brown orbs. Challenging him, I glared at him.

Kai, seeing the exchange of glare said,

"Do you guys really hate each other that much?" after plopping one of the French fries into his mouth.

"No shit Sherlock." Both of us replied at the same time.

At this, the table turned quite, but the naive Tao bluntly said, "Did you guys date before or what? Because you both act like an ex couple trying to rile each other up because of a nasty breakup."

On hearing this Sehun started chocking on the coke he was drinking, while I stood there not knowing what to do.

"Tao," Kai warned but said boy didn't even flinch. After regaining his posture Sehun gave Tao a very mean and cold glare. At this he immediately paled.

With out wasting a second, I picked up my tray and sprinted out of the cafeteria and into the rest room.

I locked the stall and sat on the pot, thinking why god was doing this to me.

There was a knock on my stall.

"Jendeukie, is it hard to tell me?" Jisoo said, how I wish it was easier to tell her.

I know hiding will not solve any problems but to me hiding seems easiest way.

I unlocked the stall and went to find Jisoo staring at me. I made my way to the tap and washed my hand. I could feel her eyes on me but I didn't glance at her at all.

I turned around to face her and told her, "Nothing is there to tell Jisoo. Nothing." I tried to convince her but her expression was anything but convinced.

Three emotions were there, frustration, anger and hurt

"Something is surely going on, otherwise you wouldn't be calling me Jisoo." Though her eyes already betrayed her, her expression remained calm.

Rolling my eyes I made my way out of the rest room with Jisoo behind me.

Whats with people trying to figure out what is wrong?
