I took a look around my surrounding and found my self in Hongdae, people were going in and out of café's, restaurants and most of them were walking and eating from stalls which sold rice cake, fish cake, pan cakes and more.

Feeling hungry, I went to a stall and asked the shopkeeper to give me a plate of rice cake. I was really hungry since I missed lunch and I wanted to eat something spicy.

I had already called my dad and asked him to inform mother about Hara being the step daughter of Auckland's mayor. She knew what she had to do as she was smart. I inherited that from her.

"Why do you look so lost and lonely, child?" I turned to see a old lady looking at me while she ate her fish cake.

I shook my head choking on the spiciness of the rice cake. It made my ears burn and my eyes water.

The old lady gave me water and soothed my back, after a while I the burning sensation went away but still some were left.

I thanked the old lady and then replied to her question earlier, "I am not lost or lonely, grandmother. Actually I am very happy."

"Child, I have seen more world then you. This old lady know everything. You had a fight with someone you love, right?-" Not exactly fight but I was upset with Sehun but I still nodded.

"-I knew it, see. That's why you are bunking school right? Child, don't let those petty things destroy your relationship with them. I know you love them but if you go on sulking every time you fight with them, then your relationship will be fall. Try to work things out, okay?"

With that she paid both for mine and her and left the stall before I could even react.

Now, I felt lonely. Even if it was for a few minutes, that old lady filled the loneliness. I just wished if Sehun was here. Tomorrow was his birthday, so I had lots of things to do. I should start with cake.

"-yeah, I will go with a vanilla cake with chocolate frosting. Yes, the large one. I need it to be done by tomorrow evening. Yes, I want it to be delivered. Okay, bye. Thanks again."

"You sure are doing your best for him. He might just fall for you all over again."

"Mother." I breathed out when I saw her come into my room. What was I to say to her. Gosh this is so awkward. I mean I haven't had a real conversation with her for almost seven years and now she was here in her glory talking to me.

It was fine when she ignored and gave me snide remarks or when she gave me cold shoulders or had me deported across the world. But now, I couldn't, the smile in the morning and now this.

"I don't want to interrupt but can you come down for a second, I need to talk with you and Suho. You can dress if you like, we are having guests for dinner."

I nodded in reply and sighed but quickly held in when I saw her open her mouth again.

"And one more thing, when I called the police chief to inform about Hara, he said they already issued a arrest warrant, all they need to do is arrest her. I believe they will be here by day after tomorrow."

"Thank you for helping," I told her not quite believing my voice. It was still bitter but still a thank you. Guess the bitchiness will still be there not to mention the sourness.

"I did what a mother would do for her daughter," that left me a gape. Really. First she smiled at me and now this.

"So, what did you guys want to talk about?" Suho said as we all were sat down on the sofa in the living room.

"Your father and I have decided to take you guys on a trip after your mid terms are over." My mother said smiling like she just got her favourite ice cream.
