Chapter 67

I woke up the next morning to the sound of Harry's phone blaring. He still faintly smelled like liquor, and I got up to answer his phone.

"Hello?" I yawned and rubbed my eyes.

"Harry-" The girl's voice stopped mid-sentence.

"Um, who is this?" I asked, but I was honestly afraid of the answer.

"Is this Ariana?" She asked, and I could tell she was trying to smile.

"I asked you first." I snapped. Whoever this bitch was, and however she knew Harry, she could go-

"This is Gemma." She explained, and I took a sigh of relief. "Harry's sister?"

"Oh yes, hello." I smiled. Why again was she calling though?

"I was on my way to visit Harry, but I thought I should call first. Did I wake you?" She worried sweetly.

"No, not at all." I lied.

"Okay, well I've heard what's been going on, and I really want to meet you." She explained. "But I completely understand if you're not up for it, you have a lot on your plate and-"

"No, it's fine." I interrupted. "I need something to get my mind off of everything, anyway."

"Okay, perfect."

"Where are you staying?" I asked, knowing I should offer her the extra space here.

"I was planning on checking into the same hotel as my mum-"

"No, please." I cut her off again and mentally slapped myself for not thinking about Anne.

"We have extra room, please come stay with us. I completely forgot about Anne, I'll call her now and tell her to come live with us for a little." I suggested.

"Oh are you sure?" God, she's so polite. Harry used to be the rudest person ever, how are they related?

"I wouldn't want to intrude-"

"Please, I want you to come stay with us." I stopped her, mid-sentence again.

"Alright, thank you." She lightly chuckled, and we got off the phone. I quickly texted Anne, telling her to come stay with us, and now Gemma, and Harry groaned from behind me.

"Who was that?" He asked in his sleepy morning voice.

"Um, Gemma, actually." I smiled.

"Ugh, I have the worst headache-" He stopped when he had processed what I'd said, and rolled over to face me. "Gemma?"

"Yes,"

"Gemma, my sister, Gemma?"

"Yes, Harry." I nodded slowly, and walked to the bathroom to clean up the mess from last night.

"Why?" He called to me from the bed.

"Because she's visiting, so I offered her a place to stay."

"She staying here?" He repeated.

"No, I offered her the option of staying at a hotel." I remarked sarcastically.

"No, really."

"No, really." I lied. "The same hotel your mother's at."

"Oh."

"I'm kidding, they're both coming to stay here. Why didn't you tell me your mom was at a hotel when we have plenty of room?" I asked, picking up the pills off the floor.

"I forgot." He groaned.

"Sure." I rolled my eyes.

"I did!" He argued. "We've had a lot going on recently, and where my mum was staying was not at the top of my list!"
