Chapter 32

Spring was coming to a close, with summer starting tomorrow. All I could think about was Harry. It's been almost two weeks since Harry and I last fought, and Hailey, Alli, and Lucy went to the concert in Hawaii just to tell everyone I was okay; but the truth was, I wasn't.

Alex never really let me leave the hotel, and I thought I was going crazy. I started cutting a little more, but not a lot. Alex basically brought me magazines to torcher me, because the only thing that was in them was all about Harry and Victoria. Sometimes I would freak out, and go down to the hotel pool, but that's basically it. I hadn't been at work in ages, and I'm pretty sure I unfortunately wasn't going back.

I had figured one thing out though. Daniel and Alex left at three in the afternoon everyday, and came back at eleven at night. I don't know what they did, but they were gone most of the day. I had my phone, but Alex was tracking it so I couldn't call or text anyone without permission.

People had made fan accounts for me on twitter though. Twitter and tumblr was where I spent most of my days... but tonight was going to be different. I was planning on sneaking out.

It was currently 2:30, and Alex and Daniel were getting ready to leave. They walked out the door, and I planned everything out. I would leave around five, and go to a bar. I would drink all of my worries away, and actually socialize with some people. I didn't care what Alex did to me at this point. It's not like I still mattered to anyone.

I got ready to leave, putting on something appropriate but not too fancy. I quietly snuck out, and got in Daniel's car, because they had took Alex's.

A few minutes later, I parked in front of the bar Harry had taken me to, bringing back memories. Good and bad ones. That was my first encounter with the paparazzi, and when I walked in the bar, there were the paps, waiting for me. I didn't know I still mattered. Well, maybe I should have some fun with this...

"Ms. Mortin!" Someone yelled, and I turned around at my name. "Are you and Harry still dating?"

"No." I said, plainly. And the flashes intensified with more mumbles and questions.

"What happened?" Another asked and I paused to think for a good minute.

"He broke my heart." I said, and walked away, taking a seat at the bar in same stool I had when I was with Harry a while ago. I ordered some drinks, and memories of Harry flooded my mind. It had been almost a month since they left for their tour, and I was starting to face the fact that they really were gone. I definitely wasn't coming to visit them for a month though, at least not yet. I downed four shots, and felt a little light headed. I drank the fifth, and sighed. I asked for a sixth from a new bartender, not the one I ordered from before, but he wouldn't let me have any more.

"Miss, are you of age?" He asked me. Shit. I was used to having Harry's fake ID pay for me drinks, the thought never even came to mind.

"Um...." I started.

"That's what I thought." He said, picking up the phone.

"Who are you calling?" I asked, leaning over the counter. He just shot me a look, and I slowly sat back down. Two minutes later the sound of sirens made me realize what I was doing. I quickly sprinted out of the bar but just to my luck, a police officer caught my arm. He hauled me into the back of his car, but first put handcuffs on my arms. Shit.
