Chapter 81
I changed into pajamas, and crossed over to the big king-sized bed that I had missed. I climbed on the bed, and got under the white covers. Harry pulled me close to him, and pressed my back against his front. He snaked his long arms around my waist, and kissed my ear quickly.
"I love you, Ariana." He whispered.
"I love you, Harry." I repeated his words, and realized how glad I was to be back in his strong arms.
"You know you can tell me anything, right?" He asked, out of the blue.
"Of course." Except that I'm pregnant for a third time because I don't know how you'll react.
"I feel like you're hiding something from me." He said, and I felt the heat rise to my cheeks.
"No I'm not." I whined. "What makes you think that?"
"Well I don't think you have a fever; your forehead's not hot."
"I know I thought that was weird too, but I do have one." I lied again.
"Okay." He agreed and kissed my shoulder. "I'm glad you're here."
"Me too." I smiled, and put my hand over his. "Why did you always sleep at the other house though?" I asked.
"Because if I was here I felt like something bad was going to happen to you, and I wouldn't be there to stop it." He said, and he tightened his grip around me.
"Let's get some rest, okay?" I changed the subject, because something did happen and he wasn't there to stop it. Although that was more my fault, I had had too much to drink.
"Okay." He agreed and kissed the back of my head before drifting off to sleep.
The next morning when I woke up, I realized that I just had the best nights sleep in a while. Maybe it was being in this house again, or maybe it was just being in his familiar arms, but whatever it was, I slept great.
Then again maybe it was the fact that I was pregnant.
I rolled over, and kissed his nose, waking him up.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you." I apologized and kissed his nose again as he took a deep breath.
"That's fine." He smiled, and my heart fluttered at the sound of his morning voice.
"What do you want to do today?" I asked, and as soon as the words came out I realized it didn't sound like me at all. Maybe it was whatever that whole "pregnant glow" thing was.
"Someone's in a cheery mood today." He observed.
"Let's go out for breakfast." I suggested, dodging his comment.
"You want to eat?" He joked, and I kissed him again.
"Get dressed." I ignored the question and hopped out of bed. Without even showering, I undressed and quickly changed back into something else. I looked over to Harry, and he was still in bed, staring at me.
"What?" I smiled.
"I'll never get tired of looking at you." He shook his head, and trailed his eyes up and down my body.
"Stop." I giggled, and threw a pillow at him.
"I can't." He shrugged, and put the pillow behind his head.
"Get dressed," I said again.
"Make me." He smirked.
"Harry!" I chuckled.
