Chapter 19 ~ Leave

*Lauren's POV*

"But Harry didn't know what to do and freaked out." Camila laughed. Apperantly Harry finally met her parents. At least their relationship is going well, and her parents actually know they're dating.

"Hey Lauren!" I furrowed my eyebrows at that strange voice. Camz and I turned around to find Selena walking towards us.

"Hi Selena?" I questioned. Camila's face was full of confusion. She knew the situation between Selena and I, but I didn't expect her to talk to me either.

"And you are?" Selena asked Camila a bit rudely.

"Oh I'm Ca-"

"Wait you're the chick that's dating Harry huh!" Camila nodded and Selena added something that made Camila bite her lips. "He's hot."

"Look, stop bothering Camila and i Selena. What do you want," look I'm not being harsh but I don't want nothing to do with her. Since the beginning of the year she said she wanted nothing to do with me. So I've kept my distance.

"What is it bad that I want to friends with my best friend again?" She smiled.

"Best friend? I thought you sa-"

"Shut it Carmella." Selena said rudely. I bit the inside of my lips and couldn't say anything. Selena could snap me faster than a twig.

"Actually my name is Camila." She said annoyed.

"Yeah! That's cool! Um I didn't ask you CamiLLa." By now I could slap her for hurting Camilas feelings. But ugh this is such an uncomfortable position.

"Now shoo." Selena said. Camila looked hurt and I mouthed her I'll call you later. She nodded slowly and walked away.

"You shouldn't be hurting her feelings Selena. She hasn't done anything to you. She's my be-"

"Best Friend? Please you've known her for what? Half a year? Pft, forget her. You've known me for quite a long time don't you think?" She asked me. Her piercing eyes intimidating me.

"Y-yeah but-"

"No buts! C'mon Lauren lets catch up now shall we?" Selena grabbed me by the wrist and began to walk the opposite direction my first class was.

"English class isn't this way."

"I know, lets skip. I'm sure you're not a chicken. Now are you?" She laughed.

We approached a group of people sitting outside. Guessing there's no turning back.

There were 4 girls and 2 boys. Colorful hair and kinda scary looking. I turned to look at Selena and realized something I never noticed. Her lip was pierced?!

"Lauren? Okay these are my friends.

Megan, Tori, Suzan, and Alex." They all said hi to me and I realized out of the four girls one didn't have her hair painted.

Blonde. Hm. Wait a second she's the one I bumped into the firs-

"You watch were you're going now?" The blonde said. I nodded nervously as she laughed. Uh Suzan I think.

"And this is Jaxon and Zach." They nodded their heads and I began to fidget. Selena patted the seat next to hers and I took a seat. They might not be bad people after all.

*Zayn's POV*

Lauren came to the table alone and sat next to me. I looked at her strangely. She never comes alone. She always comes with Camila talking and laughing.

About two minutes later Camila comes and sits next to Harry. Not one word did they share. What is it with girls? Always fighting and becoming friends again?

Dinah, Normani, Ally, and Louis join Liam, Harry, Niall, and I. They took a seat and all looked at Lauren and Camila.

"What's wrong with you two?" I asked. No response.

"Harry I'm hungry. Lets go get food from the cafeteria." Camila said.

"But it's Chicken and Broccoli. You hate that." Harry said.

"Yeah but you're hungry." Camila said. Pulling Harry's arm.

"No I'm-" Camila glared at Harry and Harry nodded. "We'll be back. I'm hungry." And they left.

"Wanna walk around?" I whispered to Lauren. She nodded and we stood up.

We walked around in silence until she started to talk. Her happy voice was sad, which was kinda sad to hear.

"Camila's mad at me." She said looking at her shoes.

"Why?" Being the caring boyfriend I am, I asked.

"She got jealous I guess. Selena went up to me in the morning and kinda hurt Camila's feelings. She's mad because I didn't try to defend her and left with Selena. I sk-"

"Wait you left with Selena?!" Does she know the risk she's putting herself in?

"Yeah anyways, I skipped first period and-"

"You left with Selena?" I asked again. Why can she not understand that Selena doesn't wake up and say 'today ill be friends with _______.' It's not her.

"Jesus Christ. Every time I tell someone I left with Selena they say the same thing."

"You shouldn't be with Selena. She's a bad influence. And all she wants to do is crush you." I said honestly.

"How would you know? Oh yeah huh you dated her. Just because she cheated on you, you think she's still the same?" She said rudely. My eyes widened at her. How could she just snap like that.

Lauren is the reason I began to date. She changed my world. And to know that she's hanging out with the girl that hurt me angers me. She'll find out things she doesn't need to know. Embarrassing things even.

"Selena won't change. You wouldn't last a day with her and her skanky friends!" I raised my voice.

"Don't tell me what to do Zayn! I can hang out with anyone I like. And you're not going to stop me. Go, go defend Camila because I did nothing wrong." She yelled.

Everyone around us silenced.

"Oh yeah, well leave. Leave with your best friend. Go. But don't you dare come crying to me once they hurt you." I yelled and walked away. Feeling strong. Lauren wouldn't last one day without me. She said so herself one day.
