Chapter 20 ~ Decisions

*Lauren's POV*

"Lauren, please open this door and tell me what's wrong. Laur?" My mom's sweet voice said behind the locked door.

I moved my hair out of the way and sat up. I looked at the door that was blocked with my small couch, a bed stand, and a box filled with things I don't need.

"No mom, leave me alone." I said to her for the sixth time. She sighed and I heard footsteps walk down the hall.

My eyes were watery again and my nose was red. I cried again.

How could I ruin our relationship just like that? Did he really get hurt for him to leave me? Or was I just wrong.

I got a pillow and covered my face. I yelled in it until my throat burned. I yelled and yelled until I eventually drifted off to sleep.

buzz buzzz buzz buzz buzz buzzz

I woke up to the small vibration and sound of my phone. I turned on my phone.

12:34 AM. Did I really sleep that long? I checked the caller ID hoping it was Zayn or Camila but it was none. And it was an unknown number. I scoffed, why would Zayn call.

"Hello?" I asked as I rubbed my itchy red eyes.

"Yes uh Lauren?" someone said at the other end. I recognized her voice and it didn't really make me all that happy.

"Yes Sinu I'm here." I said. What in the world would she be calling me for at 12 in the morning?

"Do you know what's wrong with Camila?" She asked worried. I sighed, just by hearing her name I get all ugh.

"Why?" I asked.

"Well Camila is crying in her room." There was a silence and footsteps. "Hear this." I'm guessing she put the phone on her door because I could hear her crying. Oh.

"Um I'll talk to her tomorrow I mean later on." I lied. Sinu said goodbye and I did too.

Why am I hurting other peoples feelings. It took one person to come for two people to leave. I sighed and went back to bed.

I was about to head to my table but remembered what happened yesterday. All day was bad, worst part is I'm partners with Zayn in one of my classes.

As much as I didn't want to cry when I saw him I had to act like I was fine. If you listen closely you can hear me screaming and yelling at the top of my lungs.

"Come on Lauren," Selena said. She pulled onto my wrist but I denied.

"Why?" I asked her.

"Well were friends now aren't we?" She said. I nodded and we walked back to her table. Same people were there.

They weren't all that bad but they weren't good either.

"Tell us about yourself." Megan asked as she moved away her dark red hair. They nodded and I bit my lips.

"Well um Selena and I met like in Kinder, back in Miami. Um I love tumblr and I don't know I see the world a bit different." I finished off.

"Boooring!" Jaxon sung. "Don't you I don't know do fun stuff? Go to parties? Die your hair? Have a piercing at least." He said.

"Do ear piercings count?" I asked.

"Not really. I have one on my eyebrow and lip." Alex said. She only wore the one on her lip and played with it most of the time.

I heard laughter coming from far. I turned around and looked at my table. They were laughing. like not even missing me. I sighed and looked back at my newly found table. Guess I can call them 'friends' now.
