Chapter 34 ~ One Last Time

*Laurens POV*

It was pretty cool that Zayn and I were on good terms again, it was like like ninety tons were lifted from my shoulders and I could finally breathe happily.

I was surprised to find mom in the kitchen since she usually gets home around 6 but I smiled and greeted her. "Hey Laur how was school?"

"Good." I answered, grabbing a red Apple from the fruit jar.

"So Mrs. Lerman and I were planning on having dinner and can y-"

"What!?" I yelled as this thumping sound banged on my chest and my saliva was gone, leaving my mouth dry and my mouth a bit open.

"What's wrong with that?"

"Mom, Logan and I are over!" Every inch of me was waiting to pull my hair out and yell in agony. I did not want to see him.

"Wha.... How.. But But.... And you guys.... he's so.... and... why?" She finally asked.

"He cheated on me with some stupid twat from another idiotic state!" Clara stayed there frozen unable to figure out what to say next.

"Are you sure? Logan would never do that, you probably misunderstood. He is a good boy and treats you well Lauren. Why would you think that?" Are you serious mom, you won't believe your own daughter?

"Yes I'm sure, I don't wanna see him mom. I I can't," before I knew it a single tear rolled down my face. I'd prefer someone to tear my records and record player than to see that living troll in my house.

"Have you talked it out with him?" Finally you're being reasonable.

"No were done and that's final. I don't want him in this house and I don't want to see his face ever again!" I said angrily as I stomped my way towards my room.

"But Lauren I already cooked th-" I closed the door shut and put my head against the door.

I groaned as I turned the other way not wanting to wake up. Wait did I take a nap? A wet surface kept pressing against my cheek and I finally opened my eyes to see Dash licking me and hoping up and down my bed.

"Dash, I was sleeping." I mumbled he barked towards the door and I finally stood up. I followed him to the living room and stopped on my tracks and I suddenly was wide awake.

"Yes it's a pleasure to meet you." I heard another lady's voice. You've got to be shitting me after I explained to my mom she still brings them over!?

I tiptoe my way to my room and I could hear my dogs collar shaking as he followed me. I kept making my way to my room when I heard Dash growl.

"H-Hey Lauren."

I pretended I did not hear that and kept going but Dash made it impossible since he didn't stop growling at him.

"Look Lauren I'm sorry." He finally said. "I was stupid and I wanna ask you if you'll forgive me okay? I want you to be my girl friend again and.,."

"Go away Logan all you done since I've met you is ruin everything. First, you make me hang with Selena. Then I lose my best friend. After that I lose my boyfriend and you come along claiming you won't hurt me and what's that? You brake your promise and you don't just make me mad but you hurt me and this damage can't be fixed with a band aid." I paused for a moment as I looked at the way his face fell and his eyed turned watery. "Now the best thing you can do is go away and pretend you never saw me and never met me. Because we're through."

I walked away after calling my dogs name.

"Lauren," he croaked as his hand made contact with my hand and he spined me around so I could make eye contact with him but I groaned and looked at the ground because I knew if I looked at him in the eyes I would cry and that would be the last thing I want him to see.

"Look at me." He whispered as he lifted up my chin and looked at me straight in my eyes. I think he could probably read my soul. I didn't say anything and just tried my best not to slap him and start to bawl.

"I know you made up with Zayn,that you two are friends now. And even though hurts me deep inside, it doesn't hurt as much, knowing that I broke your heart." He paused.

My eyes were getting watery but I blinked to keep them back longer and it worked.

"So I want you to promise me something."

"Okay."

"Make sure he treats you better than I ever did. I want to make sure that he enjoys every moment with you. That he respects you and gives you more love than I ever did. I want him to know that you're special and that he won't hurt you like I did...." he cried as thousands of tears trickled down his face.

There was a knot in my throat and a small pain of sadness and happiness that were felt with the words he spoke.

"Promise me that." Logan cried.

I took his hand in mine and looked up at him with tears on my cheeks as I said,"I promise."

He hugged me as he dug his head in my neck and I embraced him into the best hug I ever gave him. We pulled away after and he dried his tears and walked away after he looked at me one last time.

Umm... lets see I WILL be writing what happens to Selena and I think that will be a good chapter as well. I don't know if I should make a prom chapter, so comment if you do want it.

I DID change my name since people thought my name was Lauren and my new username will also relate to one of my stories ill make later on in the future.
