When I wake up,I'm in another waiting room.I twist my head from side to side trying to get the crick out of my neck as I take a look at my new surroundings.

Christina sits next to me asleep in her chair with her mouth hanging open.I would ask her where I was or what happened but I refuse to wake her.For the past three days that Tobias has been in the hospital, she has refused to leave my side.I am so thankful to have a friend like her even though she has a terrible drinking problem at the moment.

I slowly get up and walk around for a moment trying to find someone who works here.I end up wondering down a dark unlit hallway to another waiting area.I look up at one of the walls and notice a clock that reads 3:15 in the morning. That explains why nobody's here.

I walk over to a window on the right side of the waiting room and notice some young Erudites walking back to their apartments.I must be in Erudite.

I sit down in a chair next to the window and stare off into the distance and think about all the things that have happened in the past few days.I stop thinking when an image of Tobias flashes in my mind.Just the thought of him in any sort of pain makes me want to kill whoever caused it.That's when I realise that I have been so caught up in hhis safety and being close to him that I haven't asked myself the most basic question. How did he end up at the bottom of the chasm in that condition? If he accidently fell over the side and into the chasm then he would be dead but if he ran down into the bottom of the chasm.....someone did this.Someone did this to him,I think.I can feel a sudden anger rise up in me and force me out of my seat and down the hallway.I run as fast as I can back to the waiting room and look around and make sure no one is around. When I finally accept the fact that no one is here,I whip around the counter and start sorting through files in a file drawer. After sorting through most of the Es I run up on Eaton,Tobias.I quickly pull out the file and open it and find a piece of paper that tells all of his important information including his room number.I grab a black ink pen and jot down his room number and place the file back its proper spot and head down the hallway. When I get to the rooms I glance at my hand and start looking for room number 666.

It takes me a while until I finally find his room at the very end of one of the hundreds of hallways I ran through.I pull out a thin plastic card out of my back pocket and slip it into the slot beside the doorknob on his door and wait till a small dot of light turns green. When it does I place it in my back pocket and take a small but quick breath before stepping into his room.

The room is so dark I can't see.I reach my hand over against the wall for the light switch and flip it on.When I do I see Tobias just laying there asleep with his right arm laying across his chest.

I walk over next to him and sit down in a chair and just stare at him.He seems so relaxed and calm unlike how he looked before. They must of given him some strong pain medicine.

I push some of his hair out of his face and whisper "I love you,Tobias Eaton." and kiss him gently on his forehead and lay back and try to go to sleep.
