It's been the fifth time Ria's phone rang and Hiro's name flashes on the screen.

Tinitigan lamang ito ng dalaga habang nakayakap sa kanyang malaking unan.

Ria sighed in relief the first time his name popped up. 'At least he's okay.

Nabunutan ng tinik si Ria matapos malamang ayos lamang ang binata. Pero wala pa siyang balak makausap ito sa nadaramang sama ng loob.

Napabalikwas sa kama si Ria matapos mabasa ang text ni Hiro. Bumilis ang kabog ng kanyang dibdib.

Lumapit siya sa kanyang glass window at sumilip sa kurtina making sure na hindi siya makikita sa labas.

There she saw a guy wearing a leather jacket and dark pants standing infront of the gate with his car behind him.

His face is in a panic and worry took over it.

The guy looks like he's calling someone.

Narinig ulit ni Ria ang pag-ring ng kanyang telepono.

Tinitigan lamang niya ito mula sa kinatatayuan niya.

Nag-decide si Ria na sagutin ang tawag at pauwiin na ang binata.

"Hello? Baby?"

"Go home Hiro." Malamig ang tono ng kanyang boses.

"I'm so sorry baby.. I can explain everything, just please--"

"Maybe some other time Hiro, not now."

"Baby don't do this please.. Just please.. At least let me see your face."

"Just leave."

"No! I will stay here freezing over night if you won't show me your face."

Napabuntong hininga si Ria at dahan-dahang binuksan ang kurtina ng kanyang bintana.

"Now leave Hiro."

"There you are. My angel. My Isabelle."

Ria looked outside and saw Hiro's exhausted face with contentment written on his pair of eyes.

Their eyes locked.

"I'm so sorry baby. I helped a friend earlier and I left my phone inside my car. I was pretty preoccupied and forgot to call you to go home without me, I am such an idiot...." Hiro explaining while looking at her eyes looks like he's almost begging.

Nanatiling matigas si Ria at walang emosyong makikita sa kanyang mga mata.

"...I went to my car and saw my dead phone. I charged it and saw your countless missed calls and messages.. I'm so sorry baby! I'm sorry, sorry.... Sorry please," pagmamakaawa ni Hiro.
