As we were driving to the destination, we ended up going down an alley.

"See Alex, I told you it's better to do it at night. Nobody is around and-" he was interrupted by sirens from behind us.

"Please tell me that's not the cops"

"And you were saying" Austin said giving Grant a mean look.

I looked behind me and saw that it was a cop and that he was getting ready to get out of the car.

I looked back upfront and saw Austin moving around with the bag.

He was taking the drugs out of the bag.

"Cocaine huh...what a great drug to be moving around" he said sarcastically.

"What are you doing?"

"Making sure we don't get caught" he handed Grant some of the bags of cocaine and said "hide it on yourself" he handed me some and said "You too Alex"

"I don't think this will work" Grant said.

Austin started stuffing it down his pants as he said "Look, even if we have to for some odd reason get taken in, they cant search us physically because we haven't done anything, now stop complaining and get to stuffing"

I understood what he was saying, but still....

Looking back, I saw the cop walking towards the car, so I just stuffed it inside my jacket and sat still trying not to look nervous.

When he approached the car, Grant had rolled down the window and said "Hello officer, were we speeding?"

The officer had turned his flashlight on and started waving it around the car and in the back too.

"Kind of late to be driving around three in the morning" he said.

"Yes sir, we were on our way to take care of some business" Grant said.

He flashed his light at me again then at Austin.

"What's in the bag?" he asked.

"Nothing important sir" he replied.

The officer looked at the bag then at Grant saying "I'm going to have to ask you to step out of the car"

Grant slowly started getting out saying "Is everything okay?"

Ignoring him the officer made Austin and me get out as well.

We stood by the car, while he started searching inside.

"How much you willing to bet he works for Dave" Grant whispered.

"Probably, I wouldn't put it past him" Austin said.

The officer took the bag out and held it in front of us.

"Empty bag?" he questioned.

We didn't say anything, as the officer said, "I'm afraid that I'm going to have to take both of you back to the station.

"Wait, for what?" Grant asked.

The officer said nothing as he led us inside his car.

"Yeah, now I'm fully convinced he works for Dave" Grant said.

..................

When we had made it to the station.

We were being held in a holding cell.

"I'm positive Dave is behind this" Grant said.

"But why would Dave do that, I mean he's the one that wants money, so why jeopardize that?"
