The day had came and it was Aaliyah's birthday.

Today we were going to take Aaliyah to a place where Nathan and I use to go to as kids.

When we had arrived and gotten there Aaliyah's faced had lit up.

"Mommy look, look" she was pointing at the moon bounces and the slides.

"I know, go ahead and play"

She smiled as she bolted off and started jumping in the moon bounce.

The rest of us had sat at a table near where she was playing.

"So you guys use to come here a lot?" Jared asked.

"Yeah, our parents use to take us there a lot but mostly on special occasions"

"Special occasions like what?" he asked.

"Like birthdays or parties and sometimes on Saturday's just to have family time out"

"Oh that seems nice" he said.

As we were sitting there it was kind of an awkward silence between everyone.

"So um, where's Rachel?"

"Oh she had work today unexpected" Nathan said.

"Oh okay"

"Im about to go take a walk to the store across the street" Austin said.

"Well okay, but don't be late when her cake arrives"

"Just text me when it gets here" he said as he started walking out.

"I'll go with him, don't worry we'll be back in time for it" Jared said as they walked out.

"Um, I'll go play with Liyah" Grant said as he went towards her.

"Whats up with Austin?" Nathan asked.

"He's just upset about this whole trip"

"Well, if he has a problem with being here with us then he can go back home then" he said.

"No it's not that Nathan"

"Than what is it?" he questioned.

"Grant"

"The guy over there?" he pointed towards him.

"Yes"

"Why?" he asked.

"Grant was working with Shaun when I was there and he has feelings for me, and Austin just isn't happy about the fact that I invited him to come along"

"Oh, well he needs to get over it. I mean he should know how much he means to you" he said.

"Yeah, I honestly don't think he understands"

"Well, look, it's your daughter's birthday today and she's in a great mood, so I wouldn't let that get to you especially not today" he said.

"Yeah, I know"

I looked at Aaliyah and her and Grant were playing around.

Grant had looked at me and smiled.

I smiled back and looked away.

"I wish Austin and Grant can just get along. you know one minute their getting along, then the next they hate each other"

"Well there's nothing you can really do about it to be honest" he said.

I didn't saying anything.

About an hour or so Aaliyah's cake had arrived.

It had a picture of all the princesses with two tiara's on them.
