Chapter 7: Kidnapped

Later on that day, Austin and I made it back to the hotel.

"Where's Aaliyah?"

"She's in the other room sleep" Grant said.

"So what happened?" Jared asked.

Austin and I were quiet for a minute.

"She um, she didn't make it" Austin finally said.

"How did she die, what happened to her?" Jared asked.

"She was poisoned" he said.

"Poisoned, do they know who did it?" Jared asked.

"No, but apparently someone in all black claiming to be a close friend of Alex's, had went to see her and gave her some water for good luck" he said

"In all black?" Grant repeated.

"So the water must have been poisoned then" Jared said.

"This has to be Dave. I mean who else would come to someone they don't know wedding, and claim to be a close friend of Alex" Grant said.

"Exactly but if it is him then that means we have to be extra careful where we go" Jared said.

"Not only that" Grant said.

"What do you mean?"

"Think about it, If it really is Dave here to get you again, he must have some way of telling where we are at all times. I mean how else would he have known where we were at today" Grant said.

"He has a point" Austin agreed.

"Then what do we do, I mean we have to keep Aaliyah safe"

"We should go back to your dads" jared suggested.

"Are you crazy? My dad doesn't want to see me and added to that, he doesn't even know that I'm with Austin let alone that i have a daughter"

"Where else are we to go? On top of that we have to assume that he is coming after every family member. So we have to keep your dad safe as well as your brother" he said.

"I know but-"

I stopped because I felt like my heart skipped a beat inside my chest.

"Alex? Are you okay" Austin asked.

"Something isn't right"

"Whats wrong?" Austin came over to me.

"You said Aaliyah was in the room?"

"Yeah sleeping" Grant said.

I held my head as I ran into the room she was in...

"AALIYAH!!"

Everyone ran into the room.

"She-she was just in here" Jared said.

I looked over at the window and saw it opened.

"Someone took her" I pointed at the window as I started to panic.

Austin started to get mad.

We were only on the second floor so they could easily get into the room.

Austin looked at both Jared and Grant.

"HOW COULD YOU HAVE LET HER OUT OF YOUR SIGHT!"

He was furious.

I didn't blame him only because I was so upset I didn't know if I should yell, scream or even throw things.

"Austin, she was in the room secure and sleeping. We didn't even hear or even know that the window was unlocked" Grant said.
