3-Samatha Patricks?

Kayla is getting her hair and makeup done in a trailer when her co-star Austin comes in and sits in the chair next to her.

Austin: "Morning everyone! Jersey girl, looking very nice this morning."

Austin smiles at Kayla.

Kayla: "Thank you Austin Texas. Why are you so chipper this morning? Finally find a girl who likes you for something other than your looks?"

Austin: "No, because we are finally doing the fight scene today. Why should I not be excited?"

Kayla: "You're such a guy."

Austin: "And you're such a girl. Oh, and lets not get too carried away, everyone likes me for my looks."

Everyone in the trailer snickers at Austin's comment. We see Austin start to study Kayla. After everyone calms down Austin decides to speak up.

Austin: "Alright, what's wrong?"

KAYLA: "Nothing. Why would you think something's wrong?"

Austin: "You've just seemed out of it the past couple of weeks. Is it something with Cameron?"

Austin stares at Kayla waiting for her to answer. Kayla is staring blankly at something in front of her. Austin leans over towards Kayla and waves his hand in front of her face.

Austin: "Earth to Kayla..."

Kayla: "Huh? Oh sorry, um...no."

Austin lets out a sigh.

Austin: "So you ready for the interview with Entertainment Tonight?"

Kayla: "As ready as I'll ever be."

Both Austin and Kayla leave the trailer together when they are finished. They walk onto set where they are shooting the interview. Kayla takes a seat next to Austin as the interviewer, Jenna, from Entertainment Tonight comes in and introduces herself. After a couple of questions about the movie, Jenna decides to ask more personal questions to Austin then Kayla.

Jenna: "Kayla, you and Cameron have been going strong for a couple years now. How do you find time in your schedule to see each other with such a crazy shooting schedule?"

Kayla: "Cam knows how important my work is to me, so he's understanding when it comes to crazy schedules, which is one of the main reason why I think we are still going strong. We also live together now so it's a lot easier than it was before."

Jenna: "Well that's good. You guys have met each others friends, what was Cameron's reaction towards Sam's viral video?"

Kayla: "Um...what? Wha-what viral video?"

Jenna: "There is a viral video of your friend Samantha Patricks, where she is squirting gasoline from a gas pump at a cop. You guys are still friends aren't you?"

Austin looks from the interviewer to Kayla, who is in shock.

Kayla: "I-I'm sorry, I don't know what you're talking about."

Austin: "Haha, Jenna you're so funny. Hey, did I ever tell you how beautiful your eyes are?"

Jenna: "No...I think you forgot to mention that..."

Kayla tries to seem happy and attentive throughout the rest of the interview, but she keeps thinking of the last time she saw Sam.

Flashback:

The room is dark, with minimal light shinning through the window, but just enough so we can see Kayla's and Sam's face. Kayla is standing by the door while Sam is standing by the window.

Kayla: "What kind of a friend are you? After all the years we stood by each other you decide to stab me in the back like this?!"

Sam: "Kayla, I'm so sorry. I never meant to hurt you like this okay. It was an accident, it will never happen again."

The two girls just looked at each other in silence for a couple of seconds. Kayla starts pacing back and forth trying to control her anger.

Sam: "Kayla, please you have to believe me. I didn't want to do it, but after I lost my job I needed the money an-"

Kayla: "So you're telling me that you would sell out your own best friend, the person who has stuck by you through every thing, just so you could get some money. I OFFERED you that money!"

Sam: "Kayla, please I'm so-"

Kayla: "No! Sorry is not going to help you get out of this one."

Kayla walks out of the room the apartment slamming the door behind her.

End of Flashback.

Jenna: "Well, thank you both for sitting down with me. It was great catching up with you two."

Kayla and Austin give Jenna a smile and hug goodbye. Kayla excuses herself when Austin starts talking to a crew member.
