17-Rekindle The Friendship

They walk towards the stall seeing Cassandra and the rest of the girls sitting on the floor, eating the dessert.

Cameron: "How's that sundae treating you Cass?"

Cassandra: "A lot better than I should be."

Everyone laughs, happy Cassandra is feeling a little bit better. Kayla sits back in her spot next to Cassandra. Cameron sits next to Kayla. Everyone looks at Cassandra who is still eating her brownie. Kayla rests her head on Cameron shoulder about to fall asleep as everyone remain quiet.

Jackie: "How long do you think we'll be stuck here for?"

Cameron: "I'd say at least till tomorrow."

Amy: "Yeah, I heard Meghan arguing with the owner...from what is sounded like I don't think we're leaving anytime soon."

Sam: "So what do we do in the meantime..."

All of the girls look at each other. Cameron looks at Kayla who is trying hard not to fall asleep. Cassandra finishes eating her brownie sundae, putting the plate next to her.

Kayla: "Amy, where's Adam?"

Amy: "Probably on a conference call. That's all he does these days is work, work, work. I'm shocked he was able to propose without taking a phone call."

Kayla nods her head.

Sam: "I hate to be this person, but what are you going to do about JP Cass?"

Cassandra: "Well, I can't forgive him. It's happened one too many times. I guess I'll move back to the states, find a job and get a divorce."

Ariana: "...Well, at least you guys don't have kids."

Cassandra: "Yeah, I guess that would make the whole thing worse. Although, I am moving back to the states with no house and no job."

Jackie: "Well you could always move back in with-"

Cassandra: "I am NOT moving back in with my mother. Especially since the reason why I moved out was because of someone she never approved of."

Everyone is quiet once again, not knowing what to do. Kayla lifts her head off of Cameron shoulder giving him a look. He nods his head and Kayla's gives him a big smile. She gives Cameron a kiss on the cheek and looks at Cassandra.

Kayla: "Hey Cass, I have an idea."

Everyone looks at Kayla.

Kayla: "Why don't you come work with me? You could be my stylist until you find a job in the states."

Amy: "Don't you mean "work for me" instead of "work with me"?"

Kayla: "No...I meant work with me. I've been wanting to start my own clothing line for a while, you could be in charge of the whole thing!"

Cassandra: "I would love to Kay, but then where would I live?"

Cameron: "With us. Well...technically, you would live in the guest house. No one ever really uses it. It's not much...it's like a studio apartment, but it's still something."

Cassandra: "That's really nice of you, but I don't think I-"

Kayla: "PLEASE!!! Please, please, please!!!"

Cassandra: "I don't want to be in the way."

Cameron: "You won't be." 

Kayla: "How could you get in the way? Plus it's only until you get your feet back on the ground."

Cassandra: "It sounds awesome...but I don't know guys."

Kayla: "It will be...but only if you say yes. So please, just say yes already."
