7- Table #13

As Kayla and Cassandra approach their table with the boys following closely behind them, the girls realize there are two girls already sitting at their table looking at their phones. Before Cassandra or Kayla could say anything, one of the the girls look up from their phone to see Cassandra and Kayla.

Jackie: "Cassandra, Kayla, hi!"

Ariana: "Hey! How are you guys! It's been ages."

Kayla: "Awe, I missed you guys!"

Everyone exchanges hugs. They all sit down at the table at the large circle table that fits 9 people. Cameron next to Kayla, Kayla next to Cassandra, Cassandra next to JP, JP next to Ariana, and Ariana next to Jackie. There are three empty chairs in between Jackie and Cameron.

Jackie: "I can't believe how long it's been since we last saw each other."

Kayla: "I know right."

Ariana: "Oh, I have so much to tell you guys. I-"

Ariana stops talking as she sees Amy, Amy's fiance, ADAM, and Sam walking towards their table. Cassandra and Kayla look behind them to see what Ariana is looking at. Soon Cassandra and Kayla find both Amy and Sam. Kayla and Cassandra look away quickly.

Kayla: "They CANNOT be sitting with us. If they are sitting with us I'm going to need at least five more drinks."

Cassandra: "Everything will be fine Kay."

Kayla: "No, it's not going to be because I still haven't told Cameron exactly what happened and you know they will start something."

Cassandra: "Ugh, seriously Kayla! I-"

Amy: "Well, look what we have here. Looks like we are all sitting together, just like old times. Isn't that nice Sam?"

Sam: "Yeah, it's great! We all have some catching up to do."

Kayla and Cassandra look at each other then towards the boys. Kayla gives Cameron a slight smile as the girls and Adam sit down in the empty chairs at the table.

Kayla: "You're so superstitious Kay. I'm sure we'll be fine. It's only table 13."

Cassandra give Kayla a look as everyone sits down. Sam next to Jackie, Amy next to Sam and Adam in between Amy and Cameron. Everyone gets comfortable and doesn't say anything.

Ariana: "Well, this is going well so far."

Kayla and Sam shoot Ariana a death glare, but she continues to speak.

Ariana: "So, how have you guys been lately?"

Amy: "Great! Adam and I are actually getting married!"

Ariana: "That's great. I just knew one day you guys would get married! Did you guys set a date yet?"

Amy: "No, not yet. He only proposed the other day."

Cassandra: "Oh, wow that's great. Congratulations to you both."

Jackie: "Yeah, it's not everyday you see someone have a ring that big."

Amy: "I know, Adam custom made it just for me."

Everyone is now looking at Kayla waiting for her to say something about the engagement. Kayla is staring blankly at her drink, not realizing everyone is staring. Cameron nudges her, which brings Kayla back into focus.

Kayla: "Huh...Oh, yeah, that's great. Congratulations to you both. I wish you nothing but the best in the future."

Adam: "Thank you Kayla. That's very nice of you."

Everyone except for Amy and Sam relax at the table. Both of the girls exchange looks with each other of displeasement.

Cameron: "So, Sam...I saw that video from a couple months ago. It was pretty funny."

Kayla chokes on her drink as the rest of the table stares at Cameron in shock. Kayla switches her glance between Sam and Cameron, waiting for something to happen.

Sam: "Um...I-"

Amy: "No, Sam! You don't have to say anything about it."

Adam: "It was just a harmless statement Amy, no need to get worked up about it. After all it was a funny video."

Amy: "No, it wasn't."

Cameron: "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have mentioned it."

Amy: "That's right, you shouldn't have."

Sam: "It's fine Cameron, although I don't know how your still with a girl whose related to Satan."

Kayla: "Oh my god, you've got to be kidding me! You have been sitting at this table for not even five minutes and you're already starting. And by the way, you're the furthest person to be considered a saint at this table with all the shit you've pulled."

We see people around the restaurant hear Kayla and start to look toward the table to see what is going on. Cassandra starts looking around the room and sees some people start to take out their cell phones.

Sam: "Well we wouldn't be having this conversation if you would've returned my phone calls, texts or emails now would we."

Kayla: "You know what? I'm-"

Cassandra: "Kayla, come on. You're causing a scene. Lets go outside and cool off."

We see Kayla looking around the room at her old classmates. She sees Cameron looking up at her sympathetically. Kayla looks at Cassandra whose facial expression is begging for Kayla leave the table. Kayla looks back at Sam who has a big smile on her face. Kayla scowls at Sam before leaving with Cassandra.
