It was a beautiful spring day in Raleigh. It was sunny and 70, with no cloud in sight. I woke up to the birds chirping and I smiled, rolling over to find the other side of the bed empty, my boyfriend of 4 years MIA. I frowned but smiled at the sight of my weiner dog, Lily, snoring beside me. Sebastian always said he wanted a big, energetic dog, but once he saw Lily, it was love at first sniff. I picked Lily up and got out of bed, stretching my legs and stepping into my slippers before walking downstairs to find my boyfriend. I found him with his back turned to me in the kitchen, cooking some bacon. I set Lily down and walked into the kitchen, poking Sebastian in the back before walking towards the sink and reaching under to grab Lily's food, filling up her food and water dishes. "Morning babe," I yawned, going to the coffee pot to pour myself a mug of coffee. "Hi love, how'd you sleep?" He asked smiling, bringing over a plate of bacon. I reached up and gave him a soft kiss, reaching onto the plate to grab a piece of bacon. "I slept amazing, how about you?" I asked. "I slept pretty good, Lily woke me up once or twice to go to the bathroom but that was about it. What do you say you go put something comfy on and we leave in about an hour?" He asked. I looked up at the clock to see it was indeed 11 o'clock. "Go where?" I wondered. "The zoo." He stated, a grin growing on my face. I absolutely adored the zoo and I was so happy we could go for the first time this year. "Yay! Thank you so much babe! I'll be ready in like 5 minutes and then we can leave!" I yelled, sprinting up the stairs. "The zoo doesn't open until 12, babe!" Sebastian yelled up the stairs, chuckling at my childishness.

We finally made it to the zoo, right when it opened. I was so excited. Me and Sebastian go fairly often every year because I love it so much. I was so excited to go for the first time this year. I grabbed Sebastian's hand and pulled him around the zoo, dragging him to the polar bear exhibit. I smiled as I watched the polar bears. We saw the monkeys, tigers, lions, elephants, zebras, and we were on our way to see the penguins when we walked past a cart that had frozen lemonade slushies on it. I didn't see it until we were walking past it, so I quickly yanked Sebastian's hand so we could go back. "Dude, what are you doing?" He yelled as I dragged him towards the cart. Once we made it to the cart, he knew exactly what I was doing. I smirked and he just rolled his eyes and chuckled, walking up to the counter. He ordered 2 large slushes and paid, much to my dismay. After being satisfied with my slushie, we got up to go to see the penguin exhibit. I always loved the penguins so it was always the last thing we saw. "Babe, they're so cute!" I exclaimed, looking at the penguins. I pointed one out and smirked, "Hey babe? I like this one, I think I'll call him Crosby." I smiled at him innocently as I pointed at a penguin. He turned around and looked at me, furrowing his eyebrows in annoyance at the sound of a division competitor. I smiled innocently and he gave me a fake glare, grabbing my hand. I laughed as we walked out of the exhibit. "Y/N I want to see one more thing before we leave." I nodded, shrugging. We saw everything we always see but I didn't mind. Well I didn't mind until we walked up to the large sprinklers, Sebastian inching closer towards the faucet. "You wouldn't dare." I said as we stood under it. "Oh, but I would." He stated, smirking, turning up and saw the smile on his face and all that annoyance turned into a huge grin. Seeing my love so happy made me happy. "I love you!" He yelled over the loud sprinkler. "Ya, ya. I love you too, you big manchild."
