Alina woke up with a massive headache. She looked around at her new surrounding, she was in a dark cell that smelled of rotting wood and must. Flashes of Dimitri yelling at her to run and a creature chasing her ran through her memory. Alina slowly got up to her feet with her hand on her head to try and suppress her headache. She heard clinking and looked down to see that a long chain had been attached to her right leg. Her eyes followed the chain from her leg to see that it was attached to the wooden wall. Alina's attention changed from her leg to her arm. A dull burning sensation, she looked at her right arm where a bandage was wrapped around her arm. Two long scratch marks stained the cloth. Alina went to touch her arm when a voie stopped her.

"I wouldn't touch that if I were you," said a rough voice. Alina looked around to find the source of the voice. Her eyes rested on a figure outside outside the iron bars in front of her. Alina felt her heart quicken. The figure stepped closer to the bars.

"That's a nasty wound you have, best not to touch it," it said.

"Who are you," asked Alina.

The figure scoffed, "my name's been taken from me along with my old memories, but if you should know a name to call me, just call me Wolf."

"Well Wolf," said Alina making 'Wolf' sound bitter, "Why am I here?"

Wolf chuckled as he took a key from his pocket and opened the door with the key. "You'll soon find your answers." Wolf walked in her cell and unlocked Alina's chain and took her by the arm. He then put her in shackles. Alina didn't bother to run, her head and arm hurt too much. Wolf led her out the cell and through a dark hallway. Soon they came outside and Alina shivered. A cold wind swept through her, numbing her to the bone. She looked up a Wolf, who didn't see bothered him. Wolf led her up some steps, but Alina couldn't see around her, for she kept her head down to keep a bit warm. Alina was dragged into a large hall. She looked around and stopped dead. It was the same hall where she knew Zachary lived. She was back.

Alina was thrown to the stone ground. The ground scraping her cheek. When she stood up she felt something warm flush her cheek. Damnit.

"Alina Winterfell!" shouted a voice, "so glad to have you back after you ran from your fate."

Alina looked up to the back of the hall to see the one person she grew to hate. Zachary. His smug smile bore down onto her. "Now, you think you can stop me. Well I wish I could say I'm sorry, but who is really sorry in this life anymore? Each day I grow stronger and your band of friends grow weaker trying to stop me. Tell me this, why do you think you can stop me from taking hold of this rising darkness?"

Alina took a step, "Because of the phochey."

Zachary laughed. A cruel laugh that made Alina flinch. "The phochey. Ha!"

"Now I don't want you to go off back to your friends to chase this stupid idea that you can defeat me, so I'll make you unrecognizable..." said Zachary as he pointed his staff at Alina.

"Mutatio"

Zachary's staff glowed a bright blue light as if it was gathering energy from it surroundings. The blue light flashed around Alina like blue flames. "Mutata in draco" The flames around Alina changed to black flames. She yelled as the flames licked her clothes catching them on black fire. Soon the flames consumed Alina in swirling wind. The ball of flames grew larger. Inside the fire, Alina felt her skin start to burn. She felt a pain in her back by her shoulder blades and felt herself growing. Alina's vision went white. Once the pain subsided, Alina opened her eyes, she felt different.

Alina heard Zachary laugh. She looked down at her hands, and gasped. She didn't have hands, she had claws! She looked at her back and saw wings too. Alina was about to yell at Zachary, asking what he had done to her, but her voice came out in a roar. She snapped her mouth shut when she heard it.
