Laura's POV
Okay, somethings up with Ross. He seems a little off.

Not like himself. Somethings bothering him and I'm going to find out what.
"Hey, Laur. You want to go over those lines again?," Raini asked, entering her dressing room again. I shook my head.
"I'm not feeling well, I think I'm just going to head home," I lied.
"Oh, okay. I hope you feel better," Raini called out as I left the dressing room.

Once I got home I ran up to my room and flopped on my bed.
"Laura! Are you home!," Vanessa called, entering the house.
"I'm upstairs!," I called back. She walked up the stairs and entered my room.
"Hey, V. What's up?," I asked sitting up on my bed. She sighed.
"Ross needs some cheering up. I was just over at his house to see Riker and- why does Ross need cheering up? He was fine earlier today," I interrupted.
"Courtney and Ross broke up," Vanessa answered.
"What? Why?," I asked. She shrugged.
"There was no spark between them anymore," She answered.
"No spark? I thought they were going to last," I rebutted.
"Things change."
"I'm going to see how he's doing," I told Vanessa, and left the house.

"Ross?," I called, once I entered the house.
"He's in his room Laura." I turned around to come face to face with Rydel.
"Hey, Delly," I said and put my arms around the other girl.
"Hey, Laura," She replied.
"So, Ross is upstairs?," I asked, breaking away from our hug. She nodded.
"In his room," She added. I nodded and jogged up the familiar steps to Ross' room.

Once at his bedroom door I knocked.
"Ross?," I spoke. The door swung open.
"Laura, what are you doing here?," He asked, scratching the back of his neck.
"I heard about you and Courtney. What happened?," I asked and pulled him into a hug. He hugged me back and began speaking.
"There was no connection between us. We're just completely different people wanting completely different things. It just didn't work out," He spoke. I hugged him tighter.
"I'm sorry, Ross," I told him pulling away from the hug. He shrugged.
"It was for the best, I guess," He spoke.
"Okay, well I'm going to head home. I'll see you tomorrow," I told him and walked down the steps.
"Wait! I'll walk you out," He called after me, rushing to join me at the bottom of the stairs. I smiled but waited for him to catch up.

I stepped out the door and turned to face Ross.
"I'll see you tomorrow. And call me if you need anything," I told him, pulling him in for yet another hug. He chuckled.
"I will." And with that I closed the door and walked home. All the while the feeling in my stomach slowly rising and intensifying.
