Laura's POV
"Wait. So, Ross is your boyfriend?," Raini asked me as we watched Calum act our part of the first episode for season three.
"Yup."
"Laura, that's amazing! You and Ross and Calum and I should go on a double date tonight!," Raini added.
"Sorry, Raini. Ross and I are breaking the news to our families tonight," I apologized.
"Don't apologize, Laura. Can Calum and I come?" I nodded.
"You guys are family."
"Awwww," Raini gushed, pulling me in for a hug.

"Okay, guys," Ross spoke, pulling his jacket on.
"You ready to go?" We all nodded and piled into Ross' car. The first little while on our trip was silent.

Until my doubts got the best of me.
"Ross?," I spoke from the passenger seat.
"Yeah, Laur?"
"What if our families don't want us to be together?"
"Why wouldn't they? We're amazing. My family loves you, Laur. You got nothing to worry about."
"I love you, Ross." He smiled over at me before focussing his eyes back on the road.
"I love you too, Laur."
{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}
"Kids! What took you so long! Dinner's been ready for 16 minutes," my mom exclaimed.
"Sorry, mom. Traffic from the studio was bad."
"It's alright, Laura. We're just glad you guys are okay." My mom took our coats as we took our seats at the table.
"The food looks really good Mrs. Marano," Ross complimented, pilling bbq chicken on his plate.
"I can't wait for dessert," Raini added, putting a crazy amount of mash potatoes on her plate.
"The tacos are amazing Mrs. Marano," Calum idolized.
"Oh! You kids are too kind," mom blushed.
"I don't mean to interrupt the evening but Ross and I have something we want to share with you," I spoke, grabbing Ross' hand under the table. Ross squeezed my hand in reassurance.
"As you guys know, Ross and I have been best friends for awhile. But lately, we've been more then that," I looked over at Ross, signalling for him to continue.
"I'm in love with your daughter," Ross confessed to my parents.
"And I'm in love with your son," I confessed to Ross' parents.
"Wait. Ross, you're in love with Laura?," Riker asked. Ross looked into my eyes and smiled.
"I am." I turned my head away from Ross to look at everyone's expressions.
"And Laura, you feel the same?," Rocky asked me.
"I do. I'm in love with your brother," I confirmed.
"I promise I won't hurt her," Ross spoke to my dad.
"You better not," my dad added, sizing up Ross.
"Laura's the best thing that's ever happened to me and she always will be. As long as I have her I know everything's going to be alright."
"Awwww," my mom gushed. My dad nodded at Ross, silently telling him he had his blessing.

Ross turned his gaze towards his brothers.
"You guys have been teasing me for being in love with Laura for ages, I can't believe you were right. But I'm so happy you were. Whenever I'm with her I feel alive. So much more alive then when we're playing a gig."
"Dam that's love," Ryland spoke, light laughter filling the atmosphere. The Lynch brothers looked over at us and smiled their approval.

Ross then shifted his gaze over to his parents.
"Mom's been telling me Laura and I would be amazing together and that Laura's one of a kind. I'm sorry it took so long for me to realize what you were trying to tell me mom but now, Laura's my girlfriend and I can't believe I'm her boyfriend," Ross added, planting a swift kiss on my temple.
"See, Stormie. I told you. I knew you should have let me talked to him about Laura. They would have been together months ago," Mark rubbed in Stormie's face. Stormie rolled her eyes at Mark before giving Ross and I a thumbs up.

Thank god they approve.
"I'm happy for you guys but Ross. If you hurt my sister in any way, shape, or form I'll kill you," Vanessa chimed in. Ross gulped.
"I'd never hurt her, Vanessa."
"And she's not your second choice? You really truly love her?," Vanessa asked.
"Laura isn't my second choice. And I love her so much more than truly," Ross assured. Vanessa eyes him.
"Okay, but I'm watching you, Lynch."
"Thanks you guy. Now I know what we're doing on our honeymoon," Riker joked, causing everyone to laugh. Ross and I shifted our gazes to Raini and Calum.

They were awfully quiet. But I guess that was expected when we saw Raini finishing off the salad and Calum starting himself on dessert.
"What? You guys know we love you and that we'd back you up but we're hungry," Calum whined.
"I'm with Calum, you guys are super cute and I'm glad you're happy together. Now, Calum. Pass the mangoes," Rydel spoke, staring down the mangoes.
"I'm with, Delly. I always knew you guys would end up together. I think that's why Ross hated me." I laughed at Ellington's response.
"I never hated you, Ratliff," Ross spoke.
"Just keep your hands off my sister when I'm around," Ross added.
{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}
Once the dishes were all washed, Mark had an idea.
"Why don't we play a game?"
"What kind of game?," Stormie asked, her interest peaked.
"Oh! I know! Why don't we play charades," Rydel spoke, bouncing up and down with excitement.
"I guess we're partners because we're the only single ones here, Rocky," Ryland spoke.
"I guess so, Ry."
{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}
"And the winners are...Ross and Laura with a score of 16," Vanessa spoke.
"Who came in second," Ross asked out of curiosity.
"Riker and I with a score of 15."
"Then it was Calum and Raini with 14, Rydel and Ellington with 12, Stormie and Mark with 11, mom and dad with 10 and then Rocky and Ryland with 9," Vanessa summed up.
"Is it that time already?," Mark asked, his eyes landing on the clock against the wall.
"How can it already be 2:47 in the morning already?," Stormie asked, gathering up all her belongings.
"We better go. Come on guys," Mark spoke, ushering all the Lynches our if the Marano household.
"I'll see you later, Laur," Ross spoke, kissing my forehead. I smiled up at him.
"See you later."
