I opened the passenger side door and sat down in Ross' car. His hand fiddled with the keys in the ignition.
"I'm not giving up on you," Ross spoke first.
"I never asked you t- you asked me to chose between you and Maia. I'm so sorry if I ruined things between us, like I seem to be doing a lot these days, but I chose you and I always will," Ross interrupted me.
"You know I love you right?," I asked him. He nodded.
"I missed you, Ross."
"I missed you too, Laura."
"But...I can't forget that you were even considering choosing Maia," I spoke.
"I talked to Riker," Ross began.
"And I realized I was only ever considering being with her because things with Maia were easier."
"What?," I asked.
"Things with Maia were easy. I didn't have to walk around eggshells around her. Everything was just easy."
"Are you saying I'm difficult?," I asked.
"No. You're perfect and you make me feel alive. You make me feel like me."
"Then what's the problem?"
"In some way, I was pushing you away," Ross spoke.
"Wait. Hold on. If I make you feel alive and like yourself, why were you pushing me away?," I asked.
"I was scared. I was so scared I was going to screw everything up that I actually did. You're my forever, and that scares me. I want to tell you everything and know everything about you. You're my life line, the reason I live. We have a bond and I'm terrified it will be broken."
"Why do you think any of that will happen? I'm always going to be here for you. I'm not giving up on you either, Ross," I reasoned.
"One day you're going to wake up and realize you can do so much better than me," Ross spoke. I laughed.
"It's not funny, Laura."
"You're right. And I'm sorry for laughing. I'm not walking out on you. I can't do better than you, Ross. You're the best, there is no one better," I spoke, interwinding our hands.
"I'm not that great, Laura." I shook my head, refusing to believe that.
"Yes, you are. You may not see it but I do. I'm never letting you go no matter what you say."
"You'll want more than I can give you," Ross argued.
"I'll never want more, Ross. You're more than enough," I countered.
"I'm not good for you."
"You're amazing for me. I'll always be on you're side, Ross just like you are for me, except when you're being an idiot," I lightly joked.
"You'll find someone sooo much better than me."
"There is no one better than you, Ross Shor Lynch."
"You're not going to let me win this, are you?," Ross asked, finally cracking a smile.
"Nope. Because it's the truth. I love you, I don't know what I'd do without you, I'm always going to support you, I'll never give up on you, you're the best and no one in the whole entire world is better than you, you're more than enough for me and you're so so sooo amazing that there's no one else I'd rather be with."
"I love you, Laur."
"I love you too, Ross." He leaned in to kiss me but I pulled away, stopping him.
"There's one more thing we need to clear up."

I shared a look with Ross before he knocked on her door. The door swung open to reveal the brunette Australian we were looking for.
"Ross! Laura! What are you guys doing here?," She asked, moving aside to let us in.
"We need to talk," I spoke. Maia nodded as we sat down on her couch.
"Are you still in love with Ross?," I asked Maia, looking over at her. Maia shook her head.
"Are you sure?," Ross asked.
"I think she'd know if she loved you, Ross," I laughed a little.
"I did love him," Maia clarified.
"But, I put my feelings for Ross behind me. My one true love is my job. And Teen Beach Movie 2 is going to be amazing. In order for that movie to be as successful as I know it can be, Ross and I need to be okay with working with each other. I'd be down to be friends," Maia spoke.
"I'd love to be friends, Maia."

Ross put his car in park when we finally reached my house.
"You're perfect, Laur." I smiled over at him.
"Can I kiss you now?," Ross asked, smiling down at me. I laughed lightly.
"Absolutely." Ross slowly leaned in and kissed me.
"I was wrong," Ross spoke.
"About what?," I asked.
"You're not perfect. You're beyond perfect," Ross spoke.
"If you say so," I spoke, rolling my eyes.
"I do."
"You know, even when we're apart, no matter how far or how long, you're always on my mind," I confessed. Ross smirked.
"Good to know." Ross places a kiss on my forehead before whispering in my ear:
"You're always on my mind too."
