It's been ages since I've seen Ross. Everything between is fine.
Better than fine. It's just...we've both been super busy.
Teen beach movie might get a sequel and I might star in a Disney channel original movie of my own, but that wouldn't be for awhile. On top of our work life, we had the big Lynch and Marano wedding to prepare for.
Vanessa has been nothing but stressed about the nothing. The day when she would become Mrs Lynch was less then 3 months away and V wanted everything to be perfect.
As her sister, and maid of honour, it was my job to keep her happy. And calm.
"V, breathe in and out. Here, have some water," I spoke, handing her a glass of water.
"Am I making a mistake?," Vanessa asked after she downed the water I gave her.
"What did you say?," I asked, taking a seat beside her.
"What if I don't really love Riker." I couldn't help but laugh.
"V, don't be ridiculous. You swoon and you get that love struck look on your face every time he looks at you," I reasoned.
"Yeah, you're right," Vanessa agreed.
"Come on, V. Let's get something to eat that's not wedding cake," I spoke, pointing to the various samples of wedding cakes.

"You know, this is where Riker and I went on our first date. And shared our first kiss." I sighed.
"What's going on, V?"
"What if I'm not good enough for him?"
"V, that's crazy. You guys love each other."
"But, I just feel like I'm not enough."
"You are more than enough. I know it and so does Riker."
"He's the love of my life, Laura. I just don't want to screw it up."
"I know you don't, V."

Ross' POV
"It sucks, Laur," I said, rubbing my face in frustration.
"It's not the end of the world, Ross," Laura reasoned.
"Of course it is. If I want to do the sequel I have to do it with Maia! They won't recast her! How can I work with her after all she's done." Laura sighed.
"I know it's hard, Ross, but you both hurt each other. Maia was hurting too," Laura tried to make me understand.
"I just, I wish it didn't have to be like this," I confessed.
"I know. But look on the bright side. Teen beach movie 2 would be a fun movie to film."
"I guess you're right," I gave in, pulling Laura closer to me.
"I always am," Laura laughed. I smiled.
"I love you." Laura smiled up at me and kissed me slowly.
"I love you so much more."

I sighed as I opened the passenger side door for her.
"Thanks," she mumbled softly. I nodded.I awkwardly pulled out of the airport parking lot. Unable to sit in silence any longer, I opened my mouth.
"I'm happy you know. Laura and I are together." Maia laughed.
"I can't wait to see how long the two of you will last." I narrowed my eyes at her, momentarily taking my eyes off the road.
"Laura's my one and only."
"That's funny, Ross. You said the same thing about me," Maia pointes out. My hands gripped the steering wheel so hard that my knuckles turned white.
"I mean it with Laura."
"Sure you do. You two won't last long," Maia reassured.
"You haven't changed," I spoke, flipping the conversation topic towards her.
"What do you mean?"
"You're talking like you know me."
"I do know you, better than you know yourself," Maia remarked. I shook my head.
"If you really did know me as well as you claim you'd know I'm crazy about Laura." Maia shook her head.
"You say that now. But I can't wait to see how you ruin this relationship."
"I'm not worried about ruining my relationship. Laura's my forever. Nothing's going to change that."
"If you say so."
"I do."

Laura's POV
"She's just so frustrating! I mean seriously, who does she think she is?!," Ross exclaimed, pacing back and forth in his room.
"Ross, I know you're upset- I'm beyond upset, Laura!," Ross interrupted me.
"She basically told me I have no future with you- and you believe her?," I questioned.
"What? No. Of course I don't," Ross responded.
"Then why are you so upset?"
"I...I don't know," Ross confessed, finally sitting down beside me.
"I think you do know," I shut back, shifting to face him.
"What's that suppose to mean?"
"It means all you've wanted to do is talk about Maia. She's all you think about these days. Is there something you're not telling me, Ross?," I questioned.
"Like what, Laura," Ross spoke, daring me to ask the question we both dreaded to hear.
"Are you still in love with Maia?" His face dropped.
"How can you even ask me that?"
"I'm sorry but I had to. You keep taking about her- because she thinks I'm going to ruin our relationship!," Ross interrupted.
"Are you sure that's the only reason? Why do you care what she thinks? I can't be your second choice because you can't have Maia again, Ross," I admitted.
"As I recall, I was your second choice too, Laura." I shook my head in disbelief.
"At least I needed things with Noah without stringing him along!," I shouted. Ross scoffed at me.
"You honestly think I meant to string her along? That I meant to hurt her? I was co fused. Isn't it enough that I chose you?"
"Not if you're going to choice her over me this time."
"This time? There is no this time."
"How can you be so sure that there isn't a this time?," I asked him.
"Because I love you, and only you."
"If you really do love me, and only me, you'd let Maia go," I spoke, slamming his bedroom door shut on my way out of the Lynch household and running back to my own home.
