Chapter 14

When I woke up A&A was still playing on the TV and the sun wasn't even up. I slowly crept towards the remote and turned off the TV.

I grabbed my phone and walked over to the kitchen as to not disturb the others. My fingers danced across the screen until they found Instagram.

My eyes watered at the first post I saw. I quickly exited the app and grabbed my stuff to get ready before my friends woke up.

Ross' POV
The next couple of weeks went by surprisingly fast. In just one more week I would start filming for the Teen Beach Movie.

I wonder who's playing Mac? I was walking towards my dressing room when I heard a sound that always broke my heart.

The door to Laura's dressing room was cracked opened. The sounds of muffled sobs slipped through the crack and into my ears.

I walked up to the door and knocked. Laura's head shot up and she quickly wiped her tears away.

She turned to face me and offered me a watery smile. I slipped into the room and sat down next to her.
"Are you okay?," I asked her. She nodded but her emotions betrayed her and she started shaking her head no.

I instinctively wrapped my arms around her as she rested her head on my chest and sobbed. I hated seeing Laura like this.

She looked so fragile and broken. Two things she was not.
"Laur? Do you want to talk about it." Instead of answering she passed me her phone. On the screen was an Instagram post.

My heart broke as I read the words on the post. I'm going to kill Andrew.

I turned my head to Laura who was looking at me, clearly broken.
"He doesn't know what he's talking about," I reassured her.
"But what if he does, Ross. I was a terrible girlfriend. I was always blowing him off for work it was like I was never around."
"He knew what he was getting into when he started to go out with you. He's just upset that he lost you. He doesn't deserve you, Laur and he knows it."
"What if I was the one who didn't deserve him. I was never enough."
"Laura, you're more than enough. It's really dumb of you not to realize that. Any guy would be lucky to have you in his life."
"Thanks Ross, you're such a good friend." Yup that's all I am and all I'll ever be to Laura. Just a good friend.
