Ross' POV
Somethings up. Something weird is happening between Laura and I.

Everything's so awkward and I don't know why. My heart hurts every time I see her, yet there's a smile on my face.

Every time I see, touch or talk to Laura, I'm in pain but happy. Does that even make sense?

It's like that P!nk song. Beautiful Trama.

It was Friday and everyone was packing up their belongings to head home. I stopped packing and looked down the hall.

Laura was humming to 'Just give me a reason' by P!nk as she was packing up her stuff, casually dancing along the way. I couldn't help but smile to myself.

Unlike her character, Ally, Laura could dance. Every time she did it was like she was walking on air.

Or even floating on it. I sighed and turned my head away from Laura.

No matter what I feel for Laura, I have to ignore it and push it away. It'll ruin our friendship.

Plus, she just got out of a terrible break up.
Now would definitely not be the time to make a move on her.

It's not like I would anyways. She probably doesn't even like me like that.

She only sees me as her best friend.Maybe it's for the best.

My phone rang breaking me out of my thoughts.I have never been more happy to here the sound of my phone ringing.
"Hello?," I answered into the phone without looking at the caller idea.
"Hey man," Riker's voice spoke.
"Hey, what's up?," I asked, throwing my bag over my shoulder and making my way out of my dressing room and towards the parking lot.
"We got a gig," Riker spoke as I unlocked my car door.
"Really! That's great! When's the gig?," I excitedly asked. Riker chuckled at my amusement.
"Next week. You think you can come home early and practice?"
"I'm on my way."

"When would you not just try not to forget"
"But something in my head my wouldn't set"
"Can't kill up on a shed"
"No, wo oh"
"Your love was so real"
"It pulled me in just like a magnetic field"
"I'd let you go but somethings taking my wheel"
"Yeah it's taking the wheel"
"Oh, wo oh"
"My mind says, no you're not good for me"
"You're not good but my heart's made up on you"
"My heart you can't take what you get to me"
"What you get, got my heart made up on you"
"Wo oh, wo oh, wo oh"
"Got my heart made up on you"
'"Cause you'll be making it rain"
"Upon they're thinking I'm planning my escape"
"But this is something I ain't going nowhere"
"And I want back at your place"
"Oh, no"
"My mind says, no you're not good for me"
"You're not good but my heart's made up on you"
"My heart you can't take what you get to me"
"What you get, got my heart made up on you"
"Wo oh, wo oh, wo oh"
"Got my heart made up on you"
"Look what you did, what you did"
"What you're doing to me"
"You got me searching for the worst, like a silent movie"
"Love can be, love can see you as someone I can trust"
"But baby you only see my eyes are up on medical"
"Got my heart made up on you"
"My mind says, no you're not good for me"
"You're not good but my heart's made up on you"
"My heart you can't take what you get to me"
"What you get, got my heart made up on you"
"Wo oh, wo oh, wo oh"
"Got my heart made up on you"
"Up on you, up on you"

"You guys! That was amazing! We're so ready for that gig next week," Rydel announced with all of us nodding in agreement.
"Ross?," Rocky said.
"Yeah?," I said, looking up from the sheet of paper in front of me.
"Your phones ringing." I put down my paper and picked up my phone.
"Hey, Laur. What's up?," I asked into the phone.
"Nothing I'm just bored," She spoke into the phone.
"I'm so honoured that I was the first person you thought to call," I said and sat down.
"Actually, you were the fifth person I called," Laura said.
"What! Who did you call before me?"
"Raini, Vanessa, Rydel, And Calum."
"You called Calum before me! I get why you called the others but Calum," I joked. Laura started laughing.

It sounded like music to my ears.
"Are you busy?," She asked once she caught her breath.
"No. I just wrapped up practice."
"Practice? Today's Tuesday. Don't you practice every Wednesday?"
"That was before I realized we got a gig."
"You got a gig!," Laura screeched into the phone so loud I had to pull the phone away from my ear.
"Yes Laura. Why do you sound like you don't believe that?"
"No, no I do it's just. THATS AMAZING!" At that point I dropped my phone on the floor. I stared at the phone now resting on the floor, waiting for Laura to calm down.

Once there was silence I picked up the phone again.
"Are you done?," I asked. I could feel her roll her eyes.
"Yes I'm done. Congratulations, Ross."
"Thanks, Laur."
"Oh, I know! Let's celebrate. Just the four of us," Laura said.
"Sure. What time?"
"I'll have to ask Raini and Calum but I'm thinking...9:00?"
"Fine by me."
"Great I'll pick you up at 9:00 then. See you soon."
"Okay, bye, Laur."
"Bye!," She said cheerfully before hanging up. I turned around with a huge smile on my face to come face to face with my fellow band mates.
"What was that about?," Ellington asked.
"Oh, nothing," I said, picking up Luna once again and strumming a few chords.
{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}
"Will you guys please tell me where we're going?," I begged.
"Nope," they answered in unison. I sighed and rolled my eyes.
"Relax we're almost there," Laura assured me.
Five minutes passed when I felt the car stop beneath me.
"See, Ross. We're already here," Calum smartly pointed out. I stuck my tongue out at him and then got out of the car.
"Well where is here?," I spoke out loud.
"Skyzone," Raini answered. I spun around to face them.
"You guys seriously took me to Skyzone?," I asked.
"Of course we did. You've always wanted to go haven't you?," Laura asked.
"You guys are the best," I said and pulled them into a quick hug.
"Now come on," I said dragging them inside the building.
{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}
It was 1:00 in the morning by the time Laura dropped me home. I was exhausted.

I flopped onto my bed and shut my eyes for a little while. By the time I opened my eyes again the time was 1:30.

I pulled the covers over my head and shut my eyes again. When they opened the time read 1:40.

I sighed and grabbed my phone, clicking the most called contact on my phone. I waited until she finally picked up.
"Ross? What are you doing calling me at...1:45 in the morning?," Laura's tired voice rang through the phone.
"I just wanted to thank you. For taking me out tonight."
"You can't sleep. Can you?," Laura questioned, sensing my real reason for calling her this early in the morning.
"Not one bit," I answered honestly.
"Talk to me until I fall asleep?," I asked her.
"Why not?," Laura said. We talked until 4:00 in the morning when I finally fell asleep.

Listening to the voice of an angel.
