I knocked on the familiar door I must have knocked on a thousand times before. As I waited for the door to open, it started to snow.
Little tiny snowflakes danced across the night sky. I could only watch in admiration.
"Hey, Ross," Laura spoke, pulling my attention to the now opened door.
"Can I talk to you?"

"I just feel like I let her down, you know? This break up is completely different then my break up with Courtney. With Courtney it was mutual. I hurt her, Laur. Yet I've never felt so free. Is there something wrong with me?," I asked, finally lifting my head up to look Laura in her big, brown, chocolate eyes. She shook her head.
"There's nothing wrong with how you're feeling, Ross. It's completely natural. And yeah, right now she's hurting all because of you. But the hurt will eventually go away and she'll be stronger than ever."
"You know, I don't even think she was in love with me."
"What makes you say that?," Laura asked. I shrugged.
"I just think she was in love with the idea of being with me, you know?" Laura nodded.
"Like Andrew," she added.
"I'm sorry, Laur. I didn't mean to upset you." She shook her head and flashed me a genuine smile.
"Since he left my life, I feel like I can breathe for the first time. Yeah it hurt at first, but you made me feel better. I'd be lost without you, Ross." I felt my face heat up with what she had just said.
"I don't know what I'd do without you either, Laur."
{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}
"I'd lose my mind without you," I told Laura as we sat in Raini's dressing room. Raini's dressing room has become the casts' new place to hang out.It just happened naturally.
"I'd be lost without you," Laura countered. I smirked.
"I'd put my heart up for sale but you already own it," I spoke. Laura's face flushed.
"Yeah? Well I'd bet my life for you," Laura cheekily responded. My face then turned Laura's favourite colour.She started laughing at me, making me turn an even darker shade of red if that was possible.
"And...I win," Laura spoke, poked my nose then left the dressing room. I sighed dreamily as I watched her walk away.
{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}
"Please, Maia. I'm sorry I hurt you. Can we just talk?," I asked, leaning on her front door.
"I can't stand to look at you, Ross."
"Then don't look at me. Just talk to me." Maia pulled open the door.
"You look beautiful," I blurted out. Maia had her hair pulled into boxer braids.She was wearing a yellow sundress with a pair of white Nike Air Forces.
"Flattery will get you no where, Ross."
"It's true. You look beautiful," I tried to compliment her again.
"I know," She spoke.
"Careful. Wouldn't want you to overdose on confidence," I spoke.
"What's wrong with being confident?," She shot back.
"Absolutely nothing. Maia, I want to get close," I spoke softly to her.
"What?," She asked.
"I want to be friends. I want you in my life," I clarified.
"I want to kiss you," She spoke.
"Maia- this is why we can't be friends, not yet," She interrupted.
"But- I need time, Ross. I love you, can I please just have some space."
"Do you want space, or me out of your life?"
"Ross, I want to be your friend. But you hurt me. I need time. Please stay away from me."
"Okay. Call me when you want to talk." I walked away.
{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}
I sat beside Laura, our heads looking up as tiny specks of white fell from the sky.
"She's really hurt, Laur." Laura sighed and turned her head to look at me.
"All you can really do now is give her time." I nodded.
"I hope she's okay."
"She will be," Laura spoke.
"I can still see it, Laur," I spoke.
"See what?," She asked.
"The hurt in her face. The hurt was like little scars littered on her face. I did that to her. I don't think I will ever forget what I did to her."
"You will, Ross. And so will Maia."
"How can you be so sure?," I asked her.
"From experience. I don't really hate Andrew anymore." I gaped are her. My eyes bugged out in disbelief.
"How can you not hate him anymore? That guy was an ass to you," I rambled. Laura smiles up at me.
"It's just useless to hate him over something that seemed like it happened a lifetime ago." Laura turned her gaze back to the falling snow, some of it landing in her brown ombré hair.
"Laura?"
"Hmm," she hummed in response, turning her head to face me again.
"You're beautiful," I spoke, before crashing my lips into hers.
