One day. He's been gone for one whole day. I haven't even gotten a call from him.

 Shitty husband.

I slowly get ready for work sulking the entire time. I don't want to go. I want to stay home, in bed while I eat ice cream and listen to sad songs. Is that too much to ask? But nooo I have to go to work.

After a longer than normal shower I drag on my clothes and head out to the kitchen.  I'm not really hungry so I decide to go ahead and leave.  I put my new official badge on walk out the door.

 I finally became a full time employee. We graduated last week and all transcripts were sent to the hospital. The Piis were right, overnight my workload doubled like now I have the ability to do these things I wasn't allowed to do before. 

Hiro and I are on the same team so that's exciting. He's fun to work with and he's been very tolerant about my whining. I don't mean to harp on the situation but it keeps popping into my head and makes me angry all over again.  He's been very understanding.

I walk into my office and greet everyone, including Khun Hanwutinanon even though we don't like each other. It didn't start out like that. I didn't dislike her but I didn't know her. The more I know her the more I realize I do not like her. She's grumpy and judgmental. Ever since she found out that Khun Suthiluck and I were married to men she's been worse. She openly insults me and is just plain disrespectful to Khun. I want to smack her so badly that my hand twitches whenever I see her.

I slump in my chair and look around. What would take my mind off of my situation? I flip through the projects and find one that involves me wandering around the hospital for approval. I snatch it up and go to Khun's office.

"Ah nong, what can I do for you?" He calls out.

He only calls me nong when no one is around and I call him Pii. Ever since he met Ming, a fellow engineer, he's been treating me like a little brother. I don't know how I should feel about that but I like him so I won't complain.

"Pii I'm gonna work on this today." I tell him showing him the project.

"N'Ming texted me asking me to watch over you. Are you ok?" He asks.

"I don't do well when he's gone." I admit.

"Do you want to stay with P'Arthit and me?" He offers.

"If I get too lonely I might take you up on that." I say with a smile.

"Ok, I'll let Pii know." He says as he picks up his phone.

I wave as I leave and bump into Khun Hanwutinanon.

"Chummy with a lot of higher ups aren't you. That's how you got this job isn't it?" She says with a smirk.

I hate her.

"Nope. I got this job because I own the hospital thank you very much." I tell her throwing my own smirk back at her.

Technically, my dad owns a large portion of shares in the hospital. He did it a long time ago when my mother was ill. He decided that since the hospital had worked hard to save her he would help them. My uncle Chaimongkol Sittiwat , who is also the director, owns some too. That's why this hospital is so great.

I walk away listening to her sputter. She hated me before now how is she going to act?

I head up to P'Pha's office first. The serum that we're working on lands in his field of study. I ride the elevator up to his floor. When I get out I notice the nurses looking at me and whispering.
