Best. Morning. Ever.

Not only did I get to spend extra time with Yo but he promised to come have lunch with me. I'm so excited. He hasn't seen me in action at the office yet and I haven't gotten to show him off. I'm incredibly proud of the man that I am married to.

I'm riding the elevator up and I can't help the smile that's on my face. There's whisperings in the elevator but I can't make out what they're saying and truthfully I don't care. I'm not one for gossip.

I reach my floor and I exit to head to my work station. I look through my things and plan out my day. I grab the things that need review and head to P'Forth's office. I walk in and find that P'Alice and P'Lam are already in there. Well of course they would be.

"Sawatdee Krap P's" I greet offering them a wai which they return.

I walk to P'Forth's desk and hand him the papers I need him to review. He looks over them then tells me what he likes and the changes he wants made. I make the notes I need then head off.

I'm not using our friendship to circumvent anyone. I'm "interning" in my position. As soon as I graduate this will be my position and title only I will get paid for it. That's a bonus. Plus, I really like it here. The work is fun and the atmosphere is great. P'Forth has done a great job creating the best possible workplace.

I look at my clock and it's 9:00. Only three hours to go. I shake myself so that I can focus on work and not on the fact that Yo is coming in two hours and fifty-nine minutes. I actually have a lot to do, time should go by fast.

It's 9:30 and I finished all of my changes, took it back to P'Forth, and had him approve it. Onto the next step. I need to check with finance.  I have to turn in this project for their approval then I need to talk to the construction manager to get a timeline. That should take at least an hour.

Or thirty minutes.

Any other day and they would have taken an eternity but somehow I show up and no one else is there so I get them done quickly. I should find out the answers later this afternoon or tomorrow.

It's 10:00. Maybe I should take a break. I wander over to P'Lam to see what he's doing.

"Anything I can help with P'?" I ask flopping onto his desk.

"Are you bored nong?" He asks and I shake my head yes.

"Killing time until Yo get's here." I say trying not to look too excited.

"Nong Yo is coming?  This will be the first time right?"

"Yes. I'm very excited to show him around." I explain.

"I can see that nong." He says with a smile.

Yes we are at work and technically should address each other as Khun, well I should address them as Khun, but when it's only the four of us we use Pii and Nong.

"I want him to be so impressed with his husband at work but I'm all caught up and have nothing to do. So not only don't I have any work to flaunt I have nothing to keep me busy until he gets here." I complain, or possibly whine.  It's a toss up right now.

"Let's see. I have to go out on a site inspection. Want to go with me?" He asks.

"Will we be back by noon?" I'm not going if I might miss Yo.

"Yeah, easily." He answers.

"Great, I'll go get my bag. Do I need to tell P'Forth?" I call over my shoulder.

"I'll take care of it." He says as he picks up is phone.

I go to my station and get my travel gear which is basically my phone, a clip board with generic forms in case the ones we need aren't there, a variety of pens and pencils, a tape measure, and a flashlight. I meet P'Lam with my bag at the door and we go to his car.
