I drop my bag on the ground and breathe in deeply. It's so good to be home. The week went by faster with Yo there. It helped that I wasn't missing him terribly. I was able to focus on work, which is more than I can say for P'Forth and P'Lam whose wives had to fly back after the weekend.

After all of the inspections we found that none of the building supplies had been tampered with but Forth did find a fault and called someone out to fix it. It wasn't even a fault from our company but that's just how Forth is.  He says good customer service goes a long way.

Yo grabs our bags and drags them to the laundry and starts unloading. He's always like this. As soon as we get home the first thing he does is wash all of our clothes. He unpacks and puts everything where it belongs. I just stay out of his way. It's the way that I help.

"We don't have anything in the fridge so after I'm done let's go shopping." He says not really to me.

At this point he's listing off things that need to be done not asking me for my opinion. I simply listen and follow him wherever he goes. It's the way that I help.

After everything has been put away and the laundry is put into the dryer we head out. He has a list of what we need and what we have to do. I'm willing to bet good money that sushi will be involved before grocery shopping.

"I think we should go eat first. It's not good to go shopping while hungry." He says.

"What are you in the mood for babe?" I ask knowing full well what the answer will be.

"I want Pad Thai today. There's a really good place near the hospital." He says.

What? It's like he's a total stranger. I know I have a confused look on my face as I was already driving to the sushi restaurant. I don't know what to do right now. I can hear him turn and look at me then I hear him giggle.

"I'm just kidding. Of course I want sushi. That was a silly question." He laughs.

And just like that the world is set right again.

After parking we head to the restaurant. Yo is already giddy thinking about what he's about to get. I'm not sure that it's normal to be this excited about food but he always gets super happy. I just smile and let him get what he wants. It's the way that I help.

We walk in and sit at the counter like we always do. He starts grabbing the things he wants. On the last plate a hand reaches and grabs it at the same time. He simply lets go and reaches for the next one only to have the same thing happen.

I look up because at this point I'm annoyed. I look square at P'Aung. Are you kidding me? She's here and she's messing with my Yo.

"Sorry I wanted both of these. Are you going to take them? You like taking things I want." She says rudely.

"What you wanted was already mine. It's not taking when you already own it. You were trying to steal from me." He says sassily.

I really want to kiss him and smack her. Right now both impulses are about the same.

"Just what I need to ruin my night." Comes from behind P'Aung.

It's that awful woman that works with Yo. They know each other? That explains a lot. Right now I have to suppress my urge to smack both women. I'm not really one to hate but when it involves my Yo I can hate with the best of them.

"What's taking you guys so long?" A third voice rings out.

We turn and see P'Kanda. That's just fabulous. Yo lets out a defeated sigh and puts down his utensils. I feel bad. He was so excited.
