Jungkook

Jungkook grinned from ear to ear when he watched the workers he and his best mate had hired to finish up the sign to their restaurant: Gochi Gojyeo. It was their first business together, something they had talked about for years, but only now managed to find a local on the market, and bought it together.

"Yoongi hyung," Jungkook grinned, "look! Almost done!"

The elder male rolled his eyes. "Calm down. We can't open it until tomorrow anyway."

Min Yoongi was the other owner along with Jeon Jungkook. Although it wasn't visible, Yoongi was just as excited as the younger one, he just didn't show it, but they were both looking forward to it.

That night Jungkook had difficulties falling asleep, but feeling knackered, he finally fell into a deep sleep, almost sleeping in on his first shift as he was supposed to open the restaurant himself.

As he grabbed his casual clothes and put them on after a quick shower, he ran over towards the same street his dream building was staying at, he spotted a café just opposite of the street to him. "Kim's Café?" he read out loud. "I could use a coffee right now." As he still had about forty-five minutes left until he'd open up his restaurant, he entered the café that still didn't have too many customers yet, but still a few early birds with their laptops and breakfast beside them.

The raven-haired male admitted the place looked pretty good and cosy. He even saw a bookshelf further in, and also some self-service to refill their coffees if they'd like, as the sign said so above it on the wall.

"Good morning, welcome," said a deep voice from the pretty boy behind the counter, smiling at Jungkook with a cute rectangle smile, his eyes sparkling underneath the blond dyed hair of his.

"Uh, good morning," Jungkook greeted back, stunned by the other man. He looked older than Jungkook himself, though he didn't seem that old at all either when studying his facial features. "Can I have a - uh" - he studied their menu on the wall to see what they served - "could I just get a simple black coffee?"

The man smiled. "Of course. A black coffee coming up. Would you like to drink it here or to go?"

"To go, please," he replied. His eyes glanced down onto the male's name tag, reading Kim Taehyung. Either it's a coincidence his last name is Kim as it's a common name, or he's in the family business, he thought to himself, smiling slightly.

"Funny morning?" he asked curiously, witnessing the customer's attractive smile.

"Something like that," Jungkook brushed it off, accepting the coffee from the server, Kim Taehyung. "Thanks." He handed him the money and bid him goodbye and entered his own building.

He went to the wardrobe to change into his uniform and finally was able to switch the sign on the door to open.

The first two hours not many people had come yet, but as he stood outside, trying to tempt people into coming inside, he finally succeeded after a little while, and finally he was able to serve some new customers; they seemed delighted with the food and service, and they told him they'd review the restaurant positively on their website, which the young male was incredibly happy with. He was glad their cook was a friend of his family, and talented too. As their restaurant was new, they didn't have enough workers yet and had put up a sheet of paper that read they needed part-time and full-time workers, one of each. So far no one had asked for an interview yet, though Jungkook was glad as he didn't feel comfortable interviewing them as he'd rather let Yoongi take over that job.

But later throughout the day when Yoongi had arrived as well, finally more customers had arrived, and a pleased smile appeared on the eldest face. "Good work Jungkookie. Keep promoting your pretty face, and customers will be swirling inside in no time," he praised jokingly, though he wasn't lying. Most of the people eating were girls who squeaked silently when Jungkook arrived at their table. He tried to take the advantage to ask if any of them were interested in a part-time job, but unfortunately, all of them were too busy with school or already had another job.
