Taehyung
Jungkook drove the two of them back to his place. Although it was already getting late, Jungkook hadn't shown any signs of returning home yet, which made Taehyung glad: he didn't want to be alone now. He just needed the younger's company. He needed him there with him
"Are you hungry?" Jungkook asked them once they got inside. "Want me to order something for us?"
"Pizza would be good," Taehyung said, which made Jungkook grin back.
"Pizza it is."
As he was ordering, Taehyung went to his bedroom to change into his pyjamas, and that's when he realised Jungkook would probably be uncomfortable in his suit as well. He browsed through his clothes to find something that should fit the younger - he was bigger built than him after all.
When he exited his bedroom, Jungkook was sitting neatly on the sofa, which made Taehyung roll his eyes.
"Make yourself comfortable," Taehyung teased, "it's not your first time here."
Jungkook giggled embarrassed. "Not easy in this suit," he commented but jumped startled when Taehyung threw clothes at him.
"You can change into that."
Jungkook smiled sweetly back at him. "Thanks, hyung." He started to take off his jacket and tie, but when he on his way to unbutton his shirt, Taehyung started screaming, which startled the younger as well - again. "Change in the bedroom, you idjit!" Taehyung yelled as he embarrassedly had covered his eyes and turned away from him.
"Sorry," he laughed and hid in Taehyung's bedroom to change.
Taehyung sighed relieved once he was out of sight. "Dammit, I almost saw his bare chest," he cursed quietly to himself as he seated himself on the sofa, "I should've waited a bit longer."
Just after a few minutes, Jungkook returned back to the lounge in Taehyung's clothes; Taehyung couldn't help but stare at the younger.
"Where do you want me to place this?" he asked, addressing to his suit in his hands.
Taehyung blinked a few times to be able to respond. "Uhm," he muttered as he glanced around, "you can just put it on the stand there," he said as he pointed.
As Jungkook did what he was told, he came back to sit beside the elder on the sofa. "How long until the pizza arrives?" he asked.
Taehyung checked the app. "Around ten minutes or so," he replied. He turned the television back on and they tried to pass on time until the doorbell finally rang. "I'll get it."
Jungkook
Jungkook didn't realise how hungry he was until he saw Taehyung returning back with the pizza in his hands and the smell from the food filling the room. He just completely forgot about himself when it came to the funeral and just thought of the elder male instead of himself; there was food there, but he didn't take a single bite.
"Wow, that smells so good," Jungkook commented, already drool dripping from his mouth, which made Taehyung giggled as he prepared plates for them and they started digging in.
"How much was it for the pizza?" Jungkook asked.
"It's on me," Taehyung replied with his mouth full.
Jungkook couldn't help but chuckle at how adorable he was. "You sure?"
"Yeah, you've already brought me food the other day," he said, trying to smile, though the pizza sauce dripped from his mouth.
Jungkook didn't manage to keep in his giggles at the sight; Taehyung hadn't noticed it yet, so Jungkook picked up a napkin on the table and reached forward to the elder male, about to wipe it off.
Taehyung stared at him as he was wiping him on his chin, but he didn't move a muscle - he just stared into the other's eyes. Jungkook raised his gaze and stared back at him. None of them dared to move, not even an inch.
"Tha - thanks," the elder stuttered, his cheeks flushing. Jungkook just smiled sweetly back at him, which made the other to shift his gaze somewhere shyly.
"Are you okay?" Jungkook asked, more serious this time.
"It's just sauce, I think I can manage," Taehyung joked back, but Jungkook was serious. "I'm fine, Jungkookie. I try not to think about..." His voice drifted off, his eyes already starting to tear up.
Jungkook put the plate he had on his lap back onto the table and crept closer to the elder and wrapped his arms around him. Taehyung leaned onto his shoulder; although he wasn't sobbing, Jungkook could tell he was still crying silently. He started to stroke him on his hair, swaying them a bit to comfort him.
"I honestly don't know what I'd do without you, Jungkookie," Taehyung whispered. Jungkook smiled. He pushed himself back to create space between them and dried Taehyung's tears with his thumbs.
"I came at the right time to be here for you. I believe it was meant to be that I opened my restaurant right across from your café," he said with a sweet smile.
Taehyung giggled as he sniffed. "You believe in fate?" he asked.
Jungkook nodded back. "I do," he answered, "it led me to you."
Taehyung smiled back. As he had calmed down, they continued to eat until they were full. And when the evening was creeping closer, the elder almost fell asleep with his head resting on Jungkook's shoulder.
"You should go to bed," Jungkook whispered as he stroked him softly on his hair again. "Come on, I'll help you." He managed to drag the sleepy male up from the sofa and onto his bed in his bedroom; he tucked him in and was about to stand up, but stopped when the other had grabbed his hand.
"Stay," he whispered.
Jungkook didn't manage to hide his happy smile. "You want me to stay?" he asked, just to clarify. Taehyung only hummed in response, but Jungkook's smile didn't leave his lips. "All right, scoop in," he said softly. Taehyung moved closer to the wall to create space, and once Jungkook made himself comfortable under the duvet, Taehyung wrapped his arms around him.
"Don't leave me," Taehyung whispered in his low voice.
"I won't ever leave you, hyung," he whispered back and he pulled himself closer to him; his face was leaning against the elder's chest - it was the most comfortable he had ever been. He wanted this to last. He didn't want to ever leave this position.
Taehyung was quick to fall asleep, but Jungkook didn't want to drift off into his dreams yet - he just wanted to continue to view the beautiful male right in front of him. He wanted to be by his side at all times. He wanted to hug him and kiss him. He wanted to be his number one, as he was his.
"Hyung, are you awake?" Jungkook whispered, not too loudly. He didn't get any response. "Hyung," he tried again, but the elder was sleeping soundly. "I love you, Taehyungie hyung."
