Hello guys! So sorry about this late update. I'm overloaded with work and limited free time, so please understand. I tried to write this chapter as good as possible, and it may not be the most exciting one, but I still hope you'll enjoy it and I'll update as soon as possible <3 And apologies for the errors in advance.

Jungkook

When Jungkook exited Kim's Café, he went back to his restaurant before heading home. He had to get something out of his office, some papers to read and fill out. Just as he was about to leave, he heard the bell ring by the entrance, and he spotted Mrs Kim, Kim Taehyung's mother, by the door. He was so surprised he almost dropped everything in his hands. Sure, he did hear her say she wanted to try their food, but he didn't expect her to stop by when he was still there himself.

"Oh, Mrs Kim, hello again," he greeted immediately.

"Hello," she smiled sweetly back, "you're still here, I see?"

"I was just about to leave," he explained simply. "But before I do, I can help you with your order, if that's okay with you?"

"That'd be perfect," she smiled.

Jungkook nodded as he went to put down his things he had in his hands and returned back to Mrs Kim. "What can I get you?"

She pondered as she was scanning the menu on the wall with her eyes. "What do you recommend?"

"I recommend both the classic Lamb skewers dish, or if you'd try something other than lamb, our pepper steak as also really good."

Mrs Kim smiled again. "I'll try the Lamb skewers, since it seems to be your specialty," she giggled.

Jungkook smiled back as he excused himself and went to the chef with the order.

"Seokjin hyung," he whispered, "now our neighbour's boss' mother is here. Make the lamb skewers as good as last time."

Seokjin smirked back at him. "Make the best lamb skewers for mother-in-law, got it."

"Hey!" Jungkook snapped, but didn't bother to continue as it never worked with the elder anyways. He returned back to the front and sat down with Mrs Kim by the nearest table.

"I briefly heard from your son that he took over the business earlier than expected," Jungkook decided to bring up, though he had no idea why he did. "That you got sick and he's an only child, so he felt the responsibility to take over the business.

"Taehyung told you that?" Mrs Kim asked surprised. "I'm quite shocked he told you that when you just met."

Jungkook scratched the back of his neck. "Yeah, maybe it just slipped," Jungkook said stupidly. He honestly didn't know what else to say.

"How old are you, Jeon Jungkook?"

"I'm twenty-five years old," he replied.

"Oh, two years younger than Taehyungie," she smiled. "You know, he never felt comfortable with people his own age. He always prefered to be older, as he like feeling responsible and to take care of others," Mrs Kim kept on talking.

Jungkook had no idea where she was going with this, or why she even decided to tell him that, but he still actively listened - that way he could learn as much as possible about Taehyung.

"I'm just the opposite," Jungkook decided to say, "I feel more comfortable with being around older people than my own age, or even younger. I guess I've always been that way, since my childhood and best friend is four years older than me," he chuckled.
