Taehyung
During their walk in the dark, they embraced the comfortable silence they both had. Taehyung wasn't as scared as before, and he couldn't manage to stay angry with the younger, especially when he was giving his sweet smile and calling him 'hyung'. At least he had stopped giggling to himself, as he must've realised it only made the elder annoyed that he still found startling him to death was amusing.
"Taehyungie hyung," Jungkook started, which made Taehyung hum softly back in response. "You're not angry with me, are you?"
"No, I'm not," he replied. "How did Namjoon tell his plan to you though? Does he have your number?"
"He gave it to me when I ate lunch at your café," he answered.
"Did he? I didn't even notice."
"I still don't have your number though, which is what I wanted."
Taehyung shyly looked away, but still smiled. "You want my number?" he asked.
Jungkook nodded.
"Why? So you can ask me when my next late shift will be?" he asked jokingly.
"I know you won't have a next one, not one planned anyways," Jungkook grinned. "I want to be able to contact you, if that's alright with you."
Taehyung smiled. "Sure, give me your phone," he said as the younger handed him his phone and added his number into his contacts. "I'm saving me as 'Taehyungie hyung' then, since that's what you call me."
"Why not save it as Baby Tae," Jungkook teased, causing Taehyung to stare at him. He was utterly flustered by his comment, and he was about to tell him off, but decided not to and just shoved back his phone and started to walk faster than the other.
"Come on hyung, I was only joking," Jungkook laughed further back, but Taehyung kept on walking faster; he didn't want him to see his face all red. He didn't even know if he was overreacting or not, and it wasn't because of being called a baby. It was just something about how Jungkook said it that made it sound more like a love name rather than being called a coward.
"Hyung, come on, slow down," Jungkook kept calling after him, and he eventually slowed down. "Am I teasing you too much?" he asked, suddenly serious again. "I'm sorry if I offended you, it really wasn't my intentions."
"I know, Jungkook, I'm just really sensitive right now," he muttered, which was true, but not for the reason Jungkook thought. Taehyung was literally sensitive to him.
When they arrived at Taehyung's home, they both stopped by the front door.
"So, this is my home," Taehyung said, rather awkwardly, as he stood in front of the door, facing Jungkook, expecting him to say goodbye and take off.
But he didn't - he just stood there.
"Well, aren't you going to invite me inside?" he asked as he walked up the porch and stood right in front of the elder.
Too close, Taehyung thought as he felt his face heating up.
"At this hour?" Taehyung asked confused.
"It's only 8:30. And I brought some food from the restaurant," he said as he held up a bag that Taehyung surprisingly hadn't noticed until now. "My treat."
