"Lena... what now?" The one person who always knew what she was doing, looked absolutely confused.
"I-l don't know Kira. I don't -"
"Please Lena we have to do something to save him. I'll help you just... just tell me what to do!"
Shane still had an aura of negative energy around him. This alter ego of his seems to know something we don't. "I'm sorry Kira." Lena apologized sounding so defeated.
"I'll definitely do something." I know I'm just a beginner, but I know I can do something at least to fix this. I turned to face Vienohn. "Alright, tell me how to bring Shane back."
"Heh, do you think that I would actually tell you?" He smirked, satisfaction shining in his eyes.
"Okay, you obviously don't want to cooperate, so I guess I don't have a choice." I wasn't going to spell him to tell me, I planned on using my best way of persuasion; staring. Sounds ridiculous, but I've made Lena get things for me in the past with my stare. Dolls, cakes, cookies, chocolate, candy, I only used it when I absolutely desperately wanted something.
I grabbed his cheeks with both of my hands, while he weakly sat on the ground and made him face me directly. Intensely staring at him, I said, "Tell me how to get Shane back."
"You think a silly trick will actually get me to spill?" He taunted, but I could hear the uncomfortable strain in his voice.
Yes, I do.
He resisted for what seemed to be 10 minutes, looking in every possible direction except for my face, then he gave up.
"Ahh fine, you got me ombre. If you can answer my question, I'll tell you how to change me back." Seriously, a question? Hopefully it's not some sort of riddle.
"Fine, ask away." I rolled my eyes.
"What are your feelings towards this...Shane boy?" Actually, I would have preferred a riddle. But this is okay, we're just friends. That shouldn't be a problem.
"Well, he is my friend and I care about him and his well being." I'm not used to talking about how I felt about others, but I was pretty confident on this.
"That's all?" He questioned, unsure of my answer.
"Yes."
He sighed, radiating a dark blue light. His hair went from white back to red, bright yellow eyes to amber, his minty skin going back to his light tan.
He flopped over breathing tiredly, the sudden split personality must've used up all his strength. He peeked through his surprisingly thick lashes, peering up at me.
"W-who...?"
He doesn't seem to recognize me, probably because it's now dark outside. Thank goodness. But still, how am I going to explain this to him? And Lena is still there- oh, no she left. So quick to disappear.
"Shh, everything is going to be alright, I got you."
He lazily got up and hooked his arm around my shoulder, leaning on me. Essentially letting me know he trusted me. I smiled internally. Even though it's not the normal Kira im glad to have his trust.
"Um, where do you live?"
"300 crescent avenue." I held onto his hand and snaked my free arm around his waist. Making high jumps, we made it to his house.
"Here you are." I murmured and turned to leave.
"Wait," Shane called out, I stopped and turned around. "Can't stay and talk, gotta go!"
